I've decided to buy,now need to pick home resort!

Just adding a CONGRATS and welcome home!!!!!:cool1::banana:

I have points at SSR. I like it because it is on a golf course and close to DDD. Some of the other places have better things to offer.

One thing that might not work for you is the food at SSR. the Artist Palate is ok but missing some key things, like BURGERS!!!! And if you are going to stay in a studio you are probably going to eat out a bit more than if you had a full kitchen. There is no room service at SSR so that's a big negative for somebody who is staying in a studio.

And when it comes to your use year, you'd want to keep them the same, just for ease of use. so, before you buy, try to figure out if the contract you want is on a popular use year. I just checked the listings for SSR on the TSS and December was the most popular. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider.

Contracts that are below 100 points are usually the most expensive per point so if you can afford to get to triple digits I'd do it.

We recently added on to our contract at BLT. Without regard to availability of resales or ppp here are my thoughts:

BLT is in high demand for renting points.

The maintenance fees at BLT will be more under control in the future since they don't have a restaurant, the pool is low-maintenance (compared to some) and the security keeps "lurkers" out. I mean no offense to anyone-that's just the way it is.

The resale value of BLT should always be good with it's proximity to MK, Contemporary and the Monorail.
