You have great kids :thumbsup2

I would go then - you don't know how long you have in this life so you should go out and enjoy it. Put it on the credit cards and worry about it later.

Hi

Oh you must go as long it does not cause too many financial burdens. A few little extras being missed for a few months so you can go is worth it.

Dh and I trying to go in Nov with the children. As long as we can pay the mortgage and bills we can go without any special extras. It will be worth it when you walk into MK.

Go for it.

Joh, you know you want to!!!

I know the feeling. And remember: if you can dream it, you can do it!!

I have lots of little bits of savings specially for moments like this..

I think it is possible, I am doing the same thing, every spare penny goes towards our holiday, my one treat is a Starbucks coffee once a week.

I have also sold clothes that my DD has out grown of on eBay, and that money goes straight on the holiday. I am selling some of my own designer items, I decided that my holiday is more important than owning ridiculously over priced jeans (plus I could get them for half the price in Orlando! )

I also don't leave my holiday money in the bank, I pay it straight on the holiday, that way there is no temptation to order a pizza or buy a new top. even if it is just £50 it is payed on to the holiday.

I know that Disney isn't just for kids but I couldn't imagine going to Disney without my brood now that they are here Deborah

Snap, totally agree. My oldest is 18 now and away at university. When we decided to book for next year, we all held our breath because we desperately wanted him to come with us, he said 'yes' straightaway much to our relief. I know there will be a time when my sons don't want to come but at the moment I am so enjoying their company. It does make it a pretty expensive holiday though!

I've changed my mind!!

If the kids don't mind, this thread would be entitled, 'I've Booked. How Am I Going To Pay For It?':thumbsup2

Go for it Joh! :) You don't need magazines, you can look at the gossip etc on line, as for the makeup, stock up on it when in Florida it's much cheaper ;)

Thanks Graeme for the title :rotfl2:

The man from Del Monte, he say yes

I am a firm believer in fate and, having received a phone call from my bank this afternoon, offering me a credit card with 0% interest for 9 months, I spoke to hubby when he got home this afternoon. Seeing as I also got an Email from DU to say that there was now availability at the All Stars with the free dining for our dates, which would save us over $500, DH has now agreed and I have now paid the deposits on the cruise and the MYW package with dining. I was able to pay the deposits out of my savings which means I just have to put the balance on the credit card and I have 9 months to pay it off, although I'm hoping to pay it off sooner than that :thumbsup2

The All Stars is very good, do you know which one you are going to, and a Disney Cruise, and free dining, I am so excited for you I could leak

Joh, I didn't join in with the encouragement to book because well frankly I don't think many of us needs that much encouragement:lmao: Good for you on making the right decision :thumbsup2

Have a great trip and I look forward to reading the trip report on your return ;)
