I've been waiting for activation for over week!

Have you checked that your email hasn't treated it as junk mail, that sometimes happens. Let us know how you get on

Your activation email was sent to you at the end of May, but I've just had it sent again.

It's very likely that AOL has routed the email into your SPAM folder- check there if it's not in your mailbox.

Also, many AOL users find it helpful to create a non-AOL mail account (like on Yahoo or Hotmail) to use for DIS stuff, because of problems with AOL's spam filters...

I am having trouble posting other than this forum. I have emailed someone from tech support but have still not gotten a reply. I never did get the activation email. I would love some help.....PLEASE

Please check the following and let us know how you get on.

Problems with first post.

1) Check if your email has treated the confirmation as junk email.

2) Do you log into the site, and then get the "unregistered" message when you try to post?

If so, your login may be timing out before you submit the post. In your User Control Panel settings, under User Options, there's one setting called "Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)". If you select YES to this parameter, you shouldn't get logged out during your session.

3) One other thing I would do is clear your browser's cookies. In Internet Explorer, click on TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, then DELETE COOKIES.

4) take a look and be sure the email address you've provided in your profile is correct
