logged on early, early on the day in August, 1999 that the software changed to secure the User ID I had been using... (There were lots of "Beth's" on the boards back then...)

There still are a lot of us Beth's here!

I have been here a bit less than a year. Just read for a few weeks and then registered. Found this place when planning an adventure for just me and my son.

I found this board when I was planning my wedding, I was on a wedding site and someone reccommended this site when i revealed we were going to Disney for our honeymoon. We had planned on staying at Pop Century booked it on a monday..On Saturday we went to dinner with the In-Laws where they revealed they were paying for our honeymoon as our wedding gift. They are DVC members, so I really got to looking at the boards then since we had to deicde on a differnt resort, a DVC resort

I found the DIS back in August of 1998. My boys were only 7 and 8 years old back then, now they're almost 15 and 16, and one is driving! I can't believe it!

The board was really wierd in the beginning. Didn't it have like Castle doors, and you clicked on the door to enter the room-which was a thread? or was that another Disney web site.

That was Readers Clubhouse - Rita Aero's site. I went there first, and then discovered the DIS at the end of '98.

I started browsing over 4 years ago. We went on our first trip as a family then. After we got back I started reading a lot more. I realized just how much more I should have read before the first trip. I learned a lot, but not as much as I wished I would have.
I didn't register and start posting until right before our last trip. I enjoy reading more than posting as you can tell by my count.lol
I tell friends I turn on live365 to Disney music and read the boards and it is my mini vacation when I can't be there in person.
