I've been dreideled

My guess is being dreidled is like being Blessed or Frosted. Only for Jewish Disers.

Or..well..non Jewish Disers too, since I see by her tag it says that Jesus changed her life. :scratchin:

TOV
Jews celebrate Thanksgiving, too. :)

Congrats, Jenny, and may you long revel in your dreidleness!

Dreidel me! Dreidel me!

Thanks!!!

ETA: Thanks Jenny!

Jenny, would it be rude for a Protestant to play with a dreidel? Glad you came up with that :thumbsup2

Funny OT: When I glanced at the thread title I thought it read "I've been derided . My first thought was, "Uh oh, who's been picking on Jenny?" :teeth:

I thought the same darn thing!!

How about if I offer a new version of the song in return for someone dreideling me:

Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made you out of code
Unfortunately for me
I have no cyber-chocolate gold!

Oh, great, now I'm going to have dreidel-envy, in addition to my frost-envy and my gobble-envy. :charac2:

Someone, please help me out of my Freudian nightmare! :rotfl:

Yay, you've been dreideled.

(but I wanna be potato pancaked! My favorite part of celebrating Channukah with friends! :thumbsup2 )

Good for you? :confused3 :lmao:

What is dreideled? I have never heard of it before? Is it good? :confused3
A dreidel is a "top" used to play a game at Haunauka(I'm sure I spelled that wrong). The symbols on each side have special meanings and you get "prizes" or gifts to relate to the symbol. I think, I could be way off since I haven't played dreidle since I was in 8th grade.

May I have a dreidel please?

consider yourself dreideled.

the four letters on the dreidel are nun, gimel, hay and shin. they stand for nes gadol haya shan. "a great miracle happened there".

when you play the game, edveryone "bets", usualy with pennies or something small. everyone puts a coin into the pot. you spin the top and see which letter turns up.

nun means you get nothing.

gimel means you get the whole pot.

hay means you get half the pot.

shin means you have to put a coin into the pot.

I wanna be driedeled too!!!!! Can someone driedle me???? Driedle me baby....lol

Well
I have a little dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I shall play.

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.

It has a lovely body
With legs so short and thin
And when it gets all tired
It drops and I will win.

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.

My dreidel is so playful
It loves to dance and spin
A happy game of dreidel
Come play now, let's begin.

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.

I don't generally beg, but can I please be dreideled?

Sending virtual latkes out to everyone. :goodvibes
