I've been dreamed...by my husband!!!

My birthday is Tuesday and my DH and I have the next week off from work to use up our vacation time. We had no plans for our vacation - just hang around the city and what not. Co-workers asked what he'd do for me for my birthday on Tuesday and I told them I secretly hoped he'd take me to D-Land but with our trip in October, knew it wasn't going to happen but a girl can dream, right!

Last night I told DH about what I told my co-workers and his face got serious. He said, "Do you want to go to Disneyland for your b-day?" I then explained that is the dumbest question ever. I Disneyland!! But I dismissed it as just conversation, we seriously would not go with the price of gas, we're going in October, etc.

This morning, he tells me he booked a hotel. We're going to Disneyland on Tuesday for my b-day!!!!! And I just checked the calendar, it's not a Grad Night!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I have ever been to Disneyland for my b-day!! My husband rocks!!!

What an awesome husband! DH took me last years for my b-day and it was awesome! Make sure to get your B-Day button! We moved to the Phoenix area a year ago this month, and we have already been to DL 5 times I love living within driving distance!

Since you're going twice, AP's would make sense, but make sure to check out the blackout dates if you get the deluxe AP, most months Sat's are black out days. If you are going on a black out day, you can still get in by getting the ticket that will let you in for that day, I think it is $30, but I am not sure about that. You can get it from the ticket booths. For any blackout days for this trip, you wouldn't need the extra tickets at all. Just use the PH's you alreayd have like normal, then once the blackout day has passed, upgrade to the AP. Just make sure you upgrade them to AP's before your trip is over.

The DAP's would be $518. The 4 day hopper's are $308. Even if you only go 3 days this trip, a 3-day PH would be another $278, for a total of $586. The price would go up if you are going longer for the b-day trip. Plus you can get some discounts for the DAP, the Prem AP's have better/more discounts. Just some math to get you started, I got all the prices off of DL's website.

Upgrading the PH's is super easy. Just go to the ticket booths and tell them you want to upgrade. You pay the difference between the PH and the AP. Then you go in to DL or DCA and get your pic taken, they print out your AP and viola! AP holder with some discounts available
