I've actually been tagged!

I don't know who would have been responsible (the Tag Fairy, I know, I know) but I realized today that I've been tagged! Didn't realize that I'd be so excited about it! I feel like I'm finally in a special club or something!

Trying to explain to hubby and kids and they're just looking at me like, 'okay, sure, whatever' - oh well, my enthusiasm makes up for their indifference!

Mousy, it's not a number. The tag fairies are special, invisible creatures who will out of the blue will add a colourful "tag" to your post. I think that they will sometimes add/change the tag, but I don't know. (THAT's never happened to me.) I also think that the more you post, the better your chances. Good luck!

On what board do you get tagged? Since I pretty much only hang out here on the Canadian board I guess a tag is only a dream.

I don't know actually ... I think it just depends on when a tag fairy reads your post. I'm guessing the more you post, the more likely you'll get noticed

I think they're mostly on the community board. But remember ( or read the thread) no begging, wishing or clapping to get their attention. Just type something you hope noone will remember and it's sure to become your tag, if the tag fairies think it's funny.

Got to love those tag fairies speading happiness everywhere with their colorful wands!

Tagging is when one of the moderators (apparently only certain ones) puts something "in colour" under your username. No-one knows when or where it will happen. I've never posted on the community board but managed to get tagged so the tag fairies do frequent other boards.

When I got tagged I looked up and read all of my posts and sure enough, I had posted in a thread that I loved that magical disney feeling so a tag fairy obviously read it. The Tag Fairies do not want to be asked or begged for tags (there were some pretty long threads in the past where posters were going on and on, begging for a tag) so they asked for it to stop...you just have to wait for the magical moment to happen. It's a small thing but it makes everyone happy to be noticed and tagged. Good Luck.

I think I had hit 5000 + before I got noticed. Perhaps that says more about my posts than about the tag fiaries?
