Hurricanes from afar can be so fascinating. I just hope Ivan stays afar!!!!

Something can be beautiful and deadly all at the same time. A Tiger is one of God's most beautiful and graceful creatures when viewed at a safe distance, and yet it is terrifying to face one up close and unprotected.

Thanks for posting those pictures Dan. Ivan is indeed beautiful when viewed from afar. Let us pray that it remains far away so that no one else has to face its deadly, terrifying side.

i understand the deadly devestation involved with these hurricanes my aunts house was destoryed totaly by frances but
take the picture on it's own and there is a beauty to nature

As you can see in that picture it just barely grazed us. I am very thankful, to be quite honest I was scared to death of this one.
