I forgot to say that when we arrived at our room last night, we had a little surprise. There is a Diser who has recently retired and moved to Orlando with her teenage daughter. That Diser is Feralpeg. She is trying her hand at making candy bouquets and asked if she could try her designs out on other Disers as we enjoyed WDW, free of charge. We just needed to tell what we like or disliked about her design. Her wonderful candy bouquet was in our room when we returned that night. A beautiful fall theme with a stuffed Tigger in it (I'll post pics later) I had completely forgotten about it, and I didn't tell Stephen about it at all. Very cute, thanks Peg.

Okay, on with day 3. We had decided to go shopping at DTD in the afternoon, so we took off to AK this morning. We tend to spend the least amount of time here, so knew we could tour in the morning. We arrived just before opening, and walked right in after the little ceremony. We went straight to the Safari, walked the trail and then the safari again. I laughed so hard at a comment from a little girl about 6 who sat behind us. On the radio, warden Wilson Metua (sp) says that we should "keep our eye out for any unusual" She asked her dad, "Dad, what does he mean, unusual? Everything here is unusual!" It was very cute.

From there we went to Dinoland to ride Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl. On our way we wandered through Asia because I had heard the walkway from Asia to Dinoland was open, but it was not. For some reason, Dinosaur scares the bejeebers out of me. I have only ridden it once with my eyes open, and that was at the end of my vacation after I'd ridden it a number of times already. Stephen dared me to ride the first time with my eyes open the entire ride. I did it! Man, was it hard.

We went into Asia and rode Kali Rivers and then headed out. It was about 12:00. We knew we'd be back to AK later in the week, because I just love FOTLK, and we didn't do it today.

We took a bus to AKL, then another bus to DTD. We were going to shop, and then head to MK. However, on the bus, my husband suggested that we see a movie. You want to do what? We are at the happiest place on earth, and you want to see a movie? Okay, this vacation was about relaxing and taking it easy, so a movie it is. First though, lunch. We tried Earl of Sandwich, and really liked it. I had something with pineapple on it, and it was yummy.

Then we walked to the West side to see what was playing and at what time. The Bourne Suprmacy at 4:20. Okay, we have time to shop. So, back to the Marketplace. My goal this trip was to find some art that I could use in my kitchen. I wanted a Disney theme, but not the classic red, black and yellow. I also wanted to buy some things for the baby. I accomplished both. We got a watercolor print of Minnie mixing a bowl of cake batter with a wooden spoon. The colors were yellow, black, blue, pink and white. I also bought four plates with coffee theme on them for the other wall. I think they'll look great. Oh, and I got some really cute things for the baby.

We then went to the movie. It was a nice break, and, since my lunch did not sit very well on my stomach (that happens often for me), it was good for me to sit inside, in the dark, in air conditioning. Okay, so it was a good idea.

We took the bus from the pleasure island stop back to our room, freshened up, and walked to MGM to catch Fantasmic again. I was going to eat at the commisary because they have good teriyaki chicken, but they changed the menu. So, then we were going to get a coke and McD's fries and eat dinner on the Boardwalk. That was not to be either, it was closed. So, I had an orange, Stephen had a banana, and we split a coke. It was surprisingly refreshing.

I could watch Fantasmic every day, as you can tell. We waited until it was to start to go in, hoping to be able to sit on the right side or in the standing room section, but they never opened it. We ended up all the say down left, in Hades. We really liked these seats because you can see many "secrets" from that angle that you can't see from looking straight on. We waited for the crowds to clear, then walked back to the Boardwalk. I had chicken fingers and fries and Stephen had a Spoodles pizza. We sat at a table on the Boardwalk, right next to the water, and people watched while we ate. Very peaceful.

We were in our room by 10:00.

Stay tuned for tomorrow for: Ivan or no Ivan or Where is Tinkerbell? Day 4
