My dd doesn't want to have a dj for her graduation party...this
saves us $ :thumbsup2. However we want to buy music from iTunes to add to my dd collection to play during the party.

Is there dj type music on iTunes meaning when you are listening to a dj they will usually blend another songs together. We are looking for of course today's music plus motown and some 70's
and 80's? If anyone also knows of another place other than iTunes any help would be greatly appreciated!

If not itunes, What about Pandora. It's free. You can play it thru your computer.
Lots of styles of music. Oh wait it does have commercials.

I just discovered it and love it

I agree with the above, or check out other apps where you can stream music though a device which uses iTunes. There are lots of oldies stations available. You can also stream music live from oldies stations through your computer if you have a decent speaker system.

Thanks for the info...yes I knew about pandora but I never knew about the apps

Check out Rhapsody. Sort of like Pandora, although not free like Pandora. However, you can customize your own stations with genres, artists, etc., or play one of 100's of pre-programmed stations. Or pull out specific tunes from their library and build it into your own playlist. No commercials either. It's all streaming on your PC.

If you do plan to buy from iTunes: At CVS this week, you get $5 in Extra Bucks if you buy 2 iTunes gift cards. The lowest denominatination of gift cards is $15.
