Hi!

I downloaded a TV show on iTunes and want to watch it on my computer. I went to my list, double clicked the episode, the black play screen came up, then nothing. It won't play.:confused3 Any ideas what's up? Thanks!!

I don't know if this will work but you can try it. In itunes right click on the file, and click locate on computer (or something like that it's called), it will then locate the file on your computer, when it finds the file right click on the file and click open with and choose Quicktime Player and then click play!

P.s. I would close Itunes after it locates the file on your computer

If it is not an Apple computer, then it will not play. Apple locks their movies to only play on Apple devices. I found that out the hard way when I downloaded a movie to play on my Android phone. No dice. Since Apple allows their music to now play on any device, they should also do the same for their movies.

well, I have a Windows Xp and Windows 7 computer and Movies and Tv shows I have bought from Itunes works fine on both of them. It's only portable devices Apple will block

I learned that the hard way when I bought a movie in HD but couldnt figure out why it wouldnt transfer onto the iPod. I went through so much hell to get it refunded! Finally after a week, they gave me my 9 dollars back.

Thanks everyone! I bought the SD version, so that shouldn't be a problem. I tried the Quicktime option, Real Player, and iTunes again but I get the black screen then an error message that the programs need to close. Ugh!

I guess it's not that big of a deal unless I decided I want to watch a movie. I just did not want to watch the entire first season of warehouse 13 on my iPod! LOL!! I could swear I have watched a show on my computer before though. Weird.

I'll check out that Apple board link too!! Thanks again!
