Itune help

I got a new laptop and ipod. When my husband loaded the old itunes to my ipod it loaded twice so rather than have for example 1000 songs I have 2000 songs(2 of the same song). How do I delete the double songs without having to phsically going into each song and checking the duplicate song so it does not load twice into my ipod.


Any assistance you can provide to this computer challenged person would be great and muchly appreciated.

Easiest way is to give it back to your husband & tell him do it correctly this time.

Theres a way in iTunes I think its under options, to go in and show/hide duplicate songs. I think that might be the best way, or giving it back and having your husband do it

Although my husband is very computer intelligent this just is not his forte and quickly admits to it. There are things i get pissed off at him for how he does something but in this case i appreciate all he tried to help me with/do for me as far as transferring data from 1 computer & 1 ipod to the other.

I would appreciate any help other than having my husband redo what he did.
