OK....I've had it!!!!!!!!!   Does anyone know of something that repells or kills these nasty things???
My DS and I were out watering flowers last, minding our own business. DS was setting on our bench, little did I know there was a HUGE nest underneath it. Well.....he kicked it and out they came. Tyler got stung SIX times and I got it a couple. :( I started looking and we have them all over. Behind shutters, in corners of the house....everywhere!!! DH won't let by a spray cuz we can't ever wash it off the siding. He doesn't like that, to say the least. I was wondering if there was something else I could use.
Tyler was such a trooper, he cried for alittle bit. I made him a baking soda mixture to help the stinging. He's fine this am. Needless to say, I going out to gets those guys on way or another today. At least the bunch under the bench. It's me or them!!!!!

Wish me luck!!!!:(

AHEM...didn't your gardner tell you while you were gone on vacation she saw WAY TOO MANY bees at your house??? Didn't she also tell you they seemed to be clusted around the back porch (where your bench is)??? Didn't you tell her she was wrong and there were NOT too many bees...it's always like that around flowers????

Seems like you should listen better to your gardner!! :smooth:

OH Shut UP!!!:p Actually I forgot all about that! Besides your his aunt, you should feel badly for him!!!!;)
We always have some bees. Never a nest like this! DH just sprayed them with something, cuz they were on the bench. There very unhappy right now!!!:p :D

The only thing i can think of is to hose them down once it gets dark and then RUN..they shouldn't be as active then..

hehehe..i know its not funny at all, but i watched the new show "worst case scenerio" last night and they talked about something like this...what they said you need to do is to find the queen bee and MOVE it to a different location, then all the bees will follow...you just pick her up and carry her to the woods in the backyard or to somewhere else where no one goes. Sounds wierd, like who is going to just go pick up the queen bee, but they showed a volunteer who was SCARED of bees go into the swarming area, moving slowly and carefully, and picking up the queen bee and taking her to another location. I would say try it...you arent supposed to swat at them or anything when they crawl on you..or you could call terminex...hahahaha

Acutally DH got this spray, he just won't let me use it on the house. But we got them under that bench. Just went out and got a few more.;)

{{{HUGS}}} for Tyler. Hope you find an acceptable way to get these mean old bees to move somewhere else!

Yeah! Im so glad you could get rid of the pests..bee stings are no fun at all. :)

Thanks for reminding me to go out and spray the nest I found today! I couldn't actually see the nest because it is in a crack in the brick of our house. I'll be watching that spot tomorrow to see if any yellow jackets come and go, and if the spraying did any good. Good luck with your bee problem; I really hate those little pests!
