I'm still debating if I should take my 2 year old to this, I've read that some kids can find it scary. if you've taken your 2 year old to watch this, did they like it? did they cry? thank you :)

My 3 year old found this terrifying. She made it through the haunted mansion and every other ride without issue and in fact loved it, but the giant spiders that decent through the smoke to the audience were the last straw. I won't to it again on our trip in August, despite the fact that it's air-conditioned.

Kids have freaked out in this attraction every time I've seen it (not my kids, I prepared them, etc). What gets me is that the parents take the kids in, and when the kids howl, scream, and try to leave, the parents actually make them stay. Nothing like have a restrained banshee right next to you or behind you.

I've even heard the CM give a warning about the intensity of the show, and say that people needing to exit during the show should use the doors to their left.

DD tried to brave it when she was 9 -- she still won't go back. I think if your kid is at all afraid of the dark and/or objects coming at them this is not the place you want to take them.

Scared mine at 6. Now at 8, she says she'd try it again.

By far the scariest thing we tried was Fantasmic. I haven't seen her cry that hard since the dog died :(

DD saw ITTBAB for the first time when she was 11 months old. She obviously was way too young to know what was going on and she didn't really know to be scared at that point.
During that trip we were with our friends who had thier 3 year old daughter-- she screamed and they had to leave the theater.

Last trip, DD was 2.5 yo. She stayed through show but was definitely scared of certain parts. She said she didn't want to see it again.

thank you for the replies! I'll definitely won't be taking DS to see this, he gets scared easily.

Our 3 yr old was ok but she sat ony lap so she missed the "sting." Our first time we had no idea what to expect and our middle dd who was 4 at the time and not a bug fan was not happy, climbed in my lap and refused to look at anything after it started....pretty sure it took a few Mickey bars and a stuffed animal before shed think about trying another new to us ride...

I hate it so I won't take my boys!
I've told hubby that he can take them but last time he got 'stung' right on his spine (what are the odds?!?) and it was pretty sore for a couple of days so he said they can wait another couple of years!!

We went last year when my girls were 9 and 6 and did not go well. My older DD freaked more than her sister. Other kids were crying when we left too. I will admit that I wasn't a fan of the huge descending spiders myself.

My SIL said they had similar experience when they went with their kids a few years before. Unfortunately, I forgot about that when we went..

My DD is 9 and won't go. She tried it at maybe 4 or 5 and cowered in her seat. No crying or yelling, just curled up. She decided to brave it again at 7 and cowered again. Leaving in 2 weeks and got a very adamant NO from her about ITTBAB.

My boys have done this since they were 2 and have never been scared of it. My youngest was and is still scared of the dark and suprisingly never had issues with it. They love it and can't wait to do it at every trip. I'm always kind of surprised my the amount of people that say their kids hate this!

My daughter is 3 and has been to WDW 5 times. I have never taken her to this. I just don't think she is ready yet. It is intense.

Neither of my kids liked the show. I think the last time we went, they were 5 and 7. Have not been in since and really have no interest. My DD was scared, my DS did not like some of the effects.

I would not take a 2 year old into the attraction, just my opinion.

My dd didn't mind it at 17 months, but by 2 she was scared--not screaming, disruptive scared, but she crawled up into my lap and stayed there the entire time. I won't take her back any time soon. (She was also scared of Fantasmic.)
