It's Tough to be a Bug Rehab

We are heading to DLR next week and I read earlier that It's Tough to be a Bug was scheduled to be closed for rehab. The Disneyland site doesn't show it on the rehab list. Does anyone know if the rehab has been canceled?

Touring Plans shows it as closed now, but the Disneyland site shows it as open. I would tend to believe Disneyland site, but I was curious if anyone had any additional information.

I have been confused about that too. I read somewhere that it was going to be closed during our trip but ridemax still shows it in the list of rides opened during that time (they usually take closed rides off the attraction list).

At this point, if it ends up being open I will see it, if it's not then we will skip it.

Some times sites try to predict what will happen, to be more useful. But they base this mostly on rumors.

Disneyland.com is the official source. Disneyland can change its schedule too, but it is still the official source.

I emailed Touring Plans who told me that they just contacted a DCA CM who told them that It's Tough to be a Bug is closed until 11/11/11. The Touring Plans person speculated that the "official source's" web-site is wrong.

I don't think Touring Plans (or DISboards for that matter) base their rehab schedule on rumors, I think they get that info from Disney.

We are at the parks now and the Entertainment Schedule for the official Disney Parks website that I printed off two weeks ago, showed it was closed this week, but it has been open every day so far

I just received an email from Disneyland Resort Guest Relations telling me that "It's Tough to be a Bug" scheduled rehab has been pushed back to January 2012. It was scheduled to be down from 10/24/11 to 11/12/11. However, it has not been listed on the DLR web-site refurb list and a couple of recent DCA guests have indicated it was open.

Interestingly, an earlier Guest Relations email indicated it was closed for rehab.

We head to DLR on Wednesday for my first time since 1976.

I think could also have to do with the holiday decor they're putting up. It's a Small World also closes for the holiday overlay during that time frame and opens on Veterans Day as well in preparation for the holiday start on 11/14.

But then again, I saw pictures on micechat of some of the holiday decor going up in bug over the last week, so I could be wrong. I know it's one of the few spots in DCA that gets a holiday touch this year due to the construction.

Another reason not use TP for DLR. It is not nearly as good as it is for WDW.

We were in the parks 10/23-10/26. Mouseplanet's resort update had said that it was going to close on 10/24 but it was open the entire time we were in the parks.

We were there the same dates On the 27th it was open and very empty.
