Was there anything Home Improvement as a part of any of teh parks? I do seem to remember t-shirts and stuff but no attractions.

even though the series is long gone, it is a timeless classic and there is so much they could capitalize on with Binford Tools, Tim Taylor and 'more power' 'grunt, grunt, grunt'

The set for Tool Time would make a great attraction with volunteers from the audience.

Tool Time was part of the Super Star Television attraction in DHS where they now do American Idol Experience (ABC theatre).

My DH had the amazing fortune to play Al in the show during our trip 1994. That was his greatest wish and I thought he would pass out from joy when he was picked. :cool1:

There were Tool Time shirts, hats, mugs, and other souvenirs for sale on Mickey Avenue for a long time, in a trailer-style shop opposite WWTBAM. That's all been changed as part of the Pixar Place build. I don't know if the merchandise is still available somewhere else in DHS.

We found a couple of Tool Time items in DHS in 2008 at the AFI Showcase Shop (the store after you exit Backlot Tour). I have no clue if they still sell any of it though (we stay far, far away from the Backlot Tour!)

Ah, that explains it. That predates our Disney Addiction.

There are Tool Time and Binford tools items in the dump shop at the end of the Backlot Tour, and you can see some of the show props on the tour - in the storage room before you get on the tram.

There was a "Home Improvement Tool Time Parade" that ran on Father's Day in 1995 and 1996.

:earsboy:

I just might have to go on the backlot tour again. My dad could use a new Tool Time shirt.
