Boy it was a tough night to be a Bruins and Canucks fan last night. As our Canadien fan enemies have told us, the B's lost last night. Even NHAnn and I capering around the Canadiens fans (ScottWDW and Dsnyfn) in chat last night didn't do much good. It brought us a goal by Sergei Samsonov to bring us to within one goal, but then we pulled the goalie, and the Habs got two more. Dsnyfn thinks that's because of the capering, but capering does not lead to empty net goals. It's OK. We'll get them on Monday.

The Canucks were looking great last night--up four nothing, and I was all happy! Then all of the sudden it was 4-2. Then it was 4-3. I dozed off for a bit and it was 4-4. I couldn't believe the Canucks had squandered a four goal lead. I wound up turning off the TV and going to sleep after regulation--I just didn't have the energy to watch an overtime game last night, and it's a good thing I did because the Canucks didn't win it until the third overtime! It would have been a very long night!

So the Canucks did finally win it I turned the game off with about 5 minutes to go in the 2nd OT I just couldn't stay awake any longer. Glad they won it has been a great series so far. As for Monday night the Bruins are in a big hole the Habs have alot of momentum going into game 7 and the Bruins are reeling from 2 big losses. If it wasn't for that goof up in game 4 the Bruins would be golfing today.

LOL, Ann. I hadnt noticed it much until the end of last nights game. Must have had to do with the frustration.
At least we are getting a good series out of this, but It would have been nice to put it away last night. The Bruins are starting to act like the Bruins, which scares me.

Rough game tonight, but I'm confident the Leafs can win game 7. Belfour will be at the top of his game, I think we can be sure of that.

My only thought when the Senators scored tonight in overtime was "why are robert reichel, tie domi, aki berg, and marchment all on the ice at the same"? That's just asking for trouble.

Fear not though, Leafs in 7.

This is it! Both teams must win to move on. For the chance to claim the Stanley Cup. No more, game at a time....this is the only game these teams have right now. It should be exciting, close, and will send TLinden16 to the floor as the whole game is going to be like OT. Each goal will be magnified 10 fold and a 2 goal lead will seem like 5.

Oh, Boston will be flying today. First the Marathon followed by Yankees vs. Red Sox and ending with a Game 7 Stanley Cup playoff game. Wish I could be there!

Time to separate the men from the boys, the contenders from the pretenders and drop the puck! It's going to be a good one tonight!

I think Scott is trying to put the pressure on us! This really is a great day in Boston though. Let hope we feel that way tomorrow.

If for nothing else, I want the B's to move on so I can continue using staying up late to watch the games as a bribe to DS.

Can you say BIG game tonight. It is going to be a great game I really hope it is close and nort a blow out for either team it will be more exciting that way.

And Scott, don't forget I have the Canucks game tonight as well, at 10:30. If the B's v. Habs game doesn't go into OT, I may be able to nap for 45 minutes or so between games. I'm going to be very tired at work tomorrow!

I'll have my Keon jersey on tomorrow for the Leafs' game! We might not support the same teams (although I do route for the Habs after the Leafs) but at least we come from the same era!!!! Glad to see it!!
