Thanks, Dan! I guess I got my first e-mail from them telling me this. I deleted it because the address it came from looked like spam to me! Guess I'll go retrieve it.

I signed up for the email...but of course they never sent one..I try to remember to check for updates every month..but it's always nice to have our DIS/Microsoft Guardian remind us and keep us safe..keep up the good work!

If you get a suspicious email that has an attachment that claims to be an update from Microsoft, delete that email. Microsoft does NOT send actual updates via email.

You can always go to the "Tools" tab in Internet Explorer and select "Windows Update" to check for the latest critical updates from Microsoft.

Very true, TC. Even when I get the email from MS, one that I am almost expecting, with the level that some have gone to poolute with viruses and such, I still go through IE to get it, I do not use the link provided in the email.
