It's time again....DIS BABY THREAD! Expecting, adopting, new moms

njkzmom announced that she is expecting and they were a few others on her thread that shared their news as well. So let's have a headcount on all our pg mommies as well as adopting parents and families with little ones.


DD is 11 mo old. She is crawling, pulling up, crying, laughing, and tiring us out!

DS (little "Thor") is 7 weeks today, he is now in the 9 pound range, and is still just in the sleeping/eating stage. We have seen a few practice smiles and sometimes he even gives us 5 hours at night!

Hi there!

I'm expecting I'm 10 weeks today. This is our first and we are so very excited. So far, I feel wonderful. I have my first ultrasound posted on my webpage (http://www.alannaangel.com/Gallery) if anyone is interested. I have an appt. tomorrow and I'm hoping to see our little one again!

ME! ME! ME!

We just found out this last weekend. Due date is around the end of February. This will be our second child. DD Avery will be 2 in August!

So far I am tired and hungry. And I just discovered that my pants and shorts no longer are comfortable. I am going to go buy some of the maternity shorts with no panel. Has anyone tried those?

My first Midwife appointment is next Tuesday. We will not be finding out the sex. Going to be a surprise like Avery was!

I'm STILL pregnant! LOL! Can ya tell I'm ready to have this baby! I'm 34w5d...due July 31st. I was put on bedrest a couple of weeks ago due to high blood pressure...it hasn't been TOO bad yet. Because of my high blood pressure, my dr will probably take the baby a couple of weeks early, so at least my bedrest will be shortened a bit.

Went to the dr yesterday for another ultrasound and everything looks good. My normal dr is on vacation this week so I didn't get any new info about when I'll deliver. I can't wait until my appt next Monday!

we have dd who will be 8 in July

Yeah, I just outgrew mine and they were great. They were so comfortable! Technically I can wear them with the waistband under my tummy, but it makes the back droop too much for my taste. I felt like they were going to fall off. I started showing right away and they carried me through the first 20 weeks.

I finally got an ultrasound appointment for July 7, so hopefully we'll find out then if we're having a boy or girl. We decided to go ahead and schedule the c-section on Halloween as the doctor suggested.

Congratulations, Jenn Lynn!

Jacob is almost 6 months old now. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He started rolling from his back to his tummy 2 days ago, and I can't keep him in one spot any more. I put him down on a blanket and come back to find him half way across the room. He can't crawl, or even roll all the way over, but he scoots to get where he wants to go.

We were worried about him when he was first born because he was a preemie and didn't want to eat, but that's over now. He weighs about 22 pounds, and all of his clothes that he's wearing now are 18 and 24 months. He's a big boy.

Well, I just got the results of my progesterone tests tonight, and I failed That's a good thing - this is probably what has caused my m/c in the last year. Anyway, I was put on Clomid, and will start taking it on Friday! So, maybe a baby next May??????

I have a 19 month old DS, Braden, and am expecting another baby on Valentine's Day (just over 6 weeks pregnant). My clothes are too tight already too. Oh well.

Terra turned 4 months on Friday. She's getting so big - 16lbs 2oz, 25" - I can't believe it. Last week she discovered her tongue and loves sticking it out and playing with it. She also laughed for the first time on Sat and is soooo close to rolling from back to front. I love seeing how much she changes every day.

Wowwy! We just found out today, that we may be parents in SEPTEMBER!!! After fertility treatments since 1995, we have turned to adoption. However, we have not even found an agency or anything yet, just in early stages. We were approached by a friend of a friend who has a daughter that is due in Sept and wants to get rid of the baby! Like 3 months away ... Wowwy! This is not the timing we would like but, everything seems to be falling into place! Lawyer and home study social worker say we can accomplish all this in 3 months time frame. We are going through so many emotions now it is not even funny! We are excited and also TERRIFIED! What if it doesn't work out? What if it DOES work out?!?!? The girl already has a baby who is 19months old and has had one abortion since that baby was born. Now she found out she is six months pg and it is too late for an abortion. They are still in the deciding stages so, we are not even sure if this will work out or not. Please keep your fingers crossed that we will have to cancel our upcoming WDW vacation we have scheduled in November due to baby arrival!!! (NEVER thought we would be happy to cancel a WDW vacation before!) Good Luck to everyone!

Minnesota~ I surely hope this is your month! I can relate to all you are going through! We have done many cycles of clomid and also injectibles. Good luck and lots of pixie dust headed your way

I am not pregnant but just wanted to say Congratulations to everyone who is expecting.

My DH and I lost our little Tiffany when i was 6 months along,Jan 25 1999.we want to try again but it just scares us to death.I had miscarried twice before Tiffany,so they started doing tests and things trying to find out what was going on and finally found out that i just have a portion of my uterus and will not be able to carry a baby past 7 months and i would have to go on complete bedrest from the time i found out i was pregnant and then they would have to do a C Section on me. .So we are just so scared and dont know whether to try again or what .So i will quit complaining and turn this back into a happy thread.

Congratulations to all of our new expectant moms!

I'm still pg...34w3days. My due date is Aug 3rd...only 5 1/2 wks away. It feels so far away, but really it isn't. Everything is going well. Baby is growing on schedule. I actually got to lay on my belly yesterday...DH dug a hole in the sand for me at the beach yesterday...it was heaven!

We had our baby shower this past Sunday. We got so much stuff! We even got the 13" Disney Mickey Mouse TV and DVD player. I should post a pic of it!
