I just have to tell you that I enjoyed reading your trip report.

I just have one comment about when you were eating at the Princess dinner at Askehaus I believe, when you had a picture of your daughter with Ariel. I could not believe that was Ariel, at first I thought it was one of Cinderella's step sisters. I almost fell out of my chair when you said it was Ariel. That is the worst Ariel I have seen so far.

Sorry about the delay! Not sure what happened, but photo bucket didn't upload almost 100 of my pics... then again I uploaded over 3,00, so maybe *I* missed that batch?? I'll blame PB though!!

Anywho, it is yucky rainy cold here today! Kayla's soccer game was canceled (I'm secretly thrilled!) and I got nothing but laundry to do! So why not update! Anything to avoid laundry! Also tomorrow is john and I 6 year anniversary... of te day we met and started dating...literally we met and never parted..so that is the day we choose to celebrate... hopefully we will get married on this date as well..just to keep things easy LOL! Tonight we are taking the kids on a date night and doing dinner and a movie, Where the wild things are!! I am so excited! Ok, enough about me!! and onto me..?? lol

Once Hallowishes was done we decided to find a spot for the Boo to you parade! Last year all we wanted was to get a decent shot of the headless horseman! Poor Sophia had gone through numerous point and shoots before she broke down and bought a professional camera (Canon Rebel Xti?? or is Xsi? Idk, We have the same camera, one is the model before the one I got, same difference) Well last year despite best efforts, she missed her headless horseman shot! She was determined to find a good spot and get it this year! As was I! I only had the point and shoot last year and got a pretty craptastic dark shot of him! So i was excited to see what i could get this year with my new professional camera (is it still professional, if you have no clue how to really use it?? thank god for canon being so user friendly and having automatic options on ALL their cameras!! I chose them over a Nikkon for the ease of use!)

On our way to Main St. I took some pics...

Meet and greet forming with the step sisters/momma.. i was grateful we ate at 1900 PF for dinner, or I would have felt compelled to wait to meet them!

Finally we secured a spot! We got their quite a bit early and had an awesome spot..needless to say I was annoyed at the people who kept trying to inch their way in... I wasn't having it!! Again, i took pics while we waited..and believe me, we were headless horseman ready!

Then it was time! I was so nervous to get this pic.. you would have thought i was in line to win a million dollars or something!

and then he was gone! But yay! I got some shots AND you can tell what it is LOL! I mean, they aren't exactly what I was hoping for, but not bad for my first attempt with the new camera.. Knock on wood, that I get a better shot next year!! I need to say, I loveeee the headless horseman! Although we were up front last year, this years spot was much better! I just adored it!

After that there was quite a wait til the parade reached us all the way over on main st... so I took more pics..and listened to the young guys from England standing behind us obnoxiously flirt with the super young Japanese girls who were taking peace sign self portraits!

Poor baby was whooped! All that swimming and a full night of fun wiped him out!

Then the parade started! For some reason i was antsy and didn't feel like wasting time watching the whole thing..we saw it 3x last year and there was still a lot I wanted to get done before the night was over! Unfortunately, Joe was not feelig to hot and was in pain, so they decided they would head out. Gramma was getting starving too, since she had not eaten when we did..DOH'! Note to self- don't forget to feed the gramma! We took our pics and then said our farewells!

After left the crowd, we decided to head towards tomorrowland and see what we could do! Kayla and I saw that Buzz had NO wait and we decided to run on their real quick..poor John always got stuck waiting with Jack.. i think he was ok with it...

After we got off of Buzz, we saw him walking up to his spot, so Kayla and I BOLTED over to him.. unfortunately I have no pics..they are on the photopass cd..I think?? Funny thing is Buzz can't sign an autograph, so they stamp his name in your book lol

After meeting Buzz we started to make our way towards Fantasyland to see what candy we could now get! As we were walking we saw Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum! So we got in the ridiculously short line to wait! THEN, out of the corner of my eye.. I see a line forming..say it aint so!! Could Snow White and the seven dwarves STILL be doing a meet and greet?? This late?? YES! She was! I told John stay here with her and I bolted to the line with sleeping Jack! This line was LONG..I only had about maybe 8 people in front of me..but man the line behind us was crazyyy! Normally we all wait in line, but I held our place so Kayla could get candy and take pics!

John said these guys were HILARIOUS with her!

THEN! The moment I had missed twice last year, finally arrived! It was our turn to meet Snow White AND the Seven Dwarves! I was smitten! Uhmm NO photo pass was there?? say whhatttt?? I was pissed! They did however offer to take pics with my camera, although they were rushing and didn't seem to know *** they were doing ;/ Not the best pics, but at least I got to meet them all! Another dream come true!

Next year I will have john take the pics instead of wait in line for another charcater meet and greet!

Speaking of which, after we were done with Snow White and my favorite little fellas we got to meet these guys!

Can you say SCORE!! We were totally hitting the character jackpot! Thanks God Jophia had left, cause I think we would have killed them the way we were running around like lunatics! I was now on a mission! White Rabbit was so awesome with Kayla! he was dancing with her, spinning her, hugging her! She was THRILLED! It was one of those awesome magical disney momma moments! the ones where you go, THIS is why i spent the money to come here.. these are the moments you can't truly explain, but only feel deeply in your heart!

After that awesome encounter we decided to try and find more candy! we were on a lucky roll! Then we see a line forming for one of Kayla's favorites, Tigger and piglet! YES! Score again!

Look at poor Tigger! Hey Tig, I love you!!

She did turn around and say sorry Tigger and gave him a big hug, but I missed that shot!

At this point it was pretty much 12 and definitely time to go! All of a sudden my back was KILLING me! All the fun finally caught up! BUT how worth it was it! We seriously hit the character jack pot! We also sent john on candy missions during all of this, so our bags were nice and full lol!

As we exited the park CM's were randomly everywhere and giving us handfuls.. Rock and Roll! Thank you kindly! Of course I took some pics as we exited! i didn;t want THIS night to end! Last year we were able to do MNSSHP 2x and this year only once, so I was sad for it to be over! But I have to say, we got more done in this one night tan we did in the 2 nights we went last year! I do think 2 nights is a must to get it ALL done though! I plan to do it 2 x next year! One for the characters/parades/hallowishes, and one for the rides and candy!

Clearly it was time to go!

When we went to pick up our carpet and return the stroller it was a nightmare.. they looked at us like we had 95 heads when we asked for our "magic carpet" back! and of course, none who was there earlier was there now! Finally they brought it to us..and the carpet was half off and it looked all jacked up!! John was PISSSSED! Luckily the nail had just come loose and he was able to fix it! On the way out, he got 5 million oohs and ahhs! So many people came up to us and were so impressed with the costumes and the whole idea! John got the praise I think he wanted! He was super proud! and so was I! Yay for my good ideas and his crafty building skills!

I would like this for my house too lol

Finally we got to our car and it was time to head back to the resort..Kayla passed out instantly!

Luckily the next day was our 2nd day in Epcot and also our World Showcase part of the trip, so we didn't have to be up! yay for WS not opening up until 11! I forget the exact reasoning but we also canceled our ADR for Coral Reef tomorrow.. i think I didn't want to waste time there and we had early ressies for Le Cellier.. too much food, too little time to consume it and I really wanted to look at everything in WS this time! Tomorrow night I also had another surprise in store for John and the kids!!!

*Next up- where do we eat, what do we do, and what is the next surprise!!??

But for now I HAVE to get my laundry done! I'll do another post in a few hours!

I though this might make you chuckle a little bit. I wa searching thru the Disney World Audition site today and they have a SPECIFIC casting for Ariel! Normally they just alump it all together and do a Princess Casting but this one is for Ariel only... Mybe they have Board lurkers who saw how crappy the Ariel you had was and are trying to rectify it?? I hope so!! No Excuses for that!!!!

Ok..so it is more than a few hours later lol...but life got in the way and I actually had a productive cleaning day!

We also got to see Where the wild things are, and I personally loved it. As did John and the kids. Warning, not for the super young, or scaredy cat kids. It was very deep and emotional. My kids and myself got it on every level. Anywho, I give it an A++!

Now onto our next day! World Showcase at Epcot! Ok... I HAVE no remembrance of that morning LOL I'm gonna go with we slept in lol I also remember texting Jophia and begging them to buy me a new memory card for the DSLR! Yup.. I had managed to eat up a whole 8Gig card!! They were out that morning near stores and were nice enough to pick it up for me <3

When we finally arrived at Epcot we texted Jophia and they were at Norway making some major purchases! When we got there they were checking out and had purchased sneakers,winter boots and a new winter coat.. i forget the brand, but I do remember it is the brand they use in Deadliest catch!! High quality stuff!

After that I bought Kayla a "passport" so that she could go to the kidcot stations and get it filled out!

It was pretty cool that they wrote in her book in Norwegian! We also took some obligatory pics!

After that we decided to ride maelstrom! I had NEVER ridden it! Another first for us all!

This ride was cute..kind of lame but cute! Something to do anyway! The movie at the end was pretty cool too, although outdated lol

Then it was time to hit China!

Another interesting place! Super pretty! Jack thought he would get down with some drums there!

Then all of them were getting down!

Then we hit up Germany, but I took no pics..weird.

Then it was time to hit up Italy..and finally I realized that a pic I took with my grandma as a child was from here

We were planning on skipping America (other than Kayla getting her kidcot stamp) and we mostly did, but we saw a little show before we could sneak away..

I see shows like this at home all the time, so I wasn't too impressed lol

After America we were off to Japan!! I was excited to go here! We walked around for a bit and then we saw the find a pearl station! I was soooo excited! Sophia went first and it was AWESOME to watch! Kayla loved it! I asked if she would ike one and she was thrilled!

I have to say, aside from getting the pearl, you get a phenomenal show from this lady! She was sooo cute and enthusiastic and made you feel like a star! It was awesome!

I forget the exact size she walked away with, but it was a decent enough size for an adult, so definitely for a child! We are going to go back next year and get another one and make earrings! so long as they are close in size lol
