It's that time again! PSA for photo safety

It's the first of the month. Most of us have the day off tomorrow, or sometime this week. The year is 1/2 over.

Back up those photos ladies and gents!!!!
SD cards, computer files, Disks. ETC.

You know the drill.

Remember how I lost my 30,000+ photo collection? DH painstakingly recovered about 98% of them. Don't let that happen to you!

This is such a great reminder!!

I am OCD about backing up after nearly losing all my files/photos/music/etc. I recently subscribed to online file storage at Mozy.com and have it set to back up new & altered files every day but I am due to back up to my external hard drive.

Thanks for the reminder I try to back my files up on the external hard drive every time I upload photos. I lost some of mine when my other laptop crashed

Buffy, remind me this weekend to update the newer stuff on CDs... I got them on the external harddrive...but better get the CDs too...

I need to do a backup again. I just dumped mom's camera on my computer, 400+ pics.
