It's that Time Again: Disney Holiday Photo Thread

Hi!

I was just wondering if they had christmas characters at the entrance of the Osborne Lights at MGM Studios. My last December trip was in 2003 and the lights were cancelled on that year. Then I need to go back to 1996 and that is when we met a snowman at the Osbourne lights display. During that same trip we also met a reindeer at the display. Just wondering if that's still happening!

Also, a little but I was wondering if the Osborne lights would go on during the extra magic hours (evening) at MGM?? Anyone knows? thanks.

We were there last year and did not see any characters at the entrance to Osborne Lights. We went twice - once during EMH and another time. The lights are definitely still on during EMH and I think that's the better time to see them. Not as crowded. When we went during the regular park closing time, it was packed because that's what everyone was trying to do before the park was closing. During EMH, it was definitely more leisurely - people coming and going at different times.

I love all the Christmas pictures. We are going the first week of Dec. and can't wait. It will be my DH first Christmas visit and my DS first visit ever. Keep all the great pictures coming.

Oh sure, they start playing that show AFTER I come back!! I was hoping to see it before I go. I know some things have changed, but it would be nice for the kids to see to help get them even more excited. (Like they really need help!
