It's so nice

I've just now started thinking about getting my fall decorations out. :) :sunny:

My lights are sitting in a jumbled pile on a lawn chair on my back deck. I had to take them down from the deck last month so we could cut the deck down to put in a mud room. **Sheesh** I am sooooooooo much looking forward to unjumbling them to put them out again this year. NOT!

If not, today definitely would have been the day to do it.. :)

The weather is PERFECT here at the lake today.. Started a bit chilly, but warmed up nicely.. Not too hot, not too cold.. We (DD, her DH & I) went down and took a long walk out on the point.. Then we plopped down in the sand, soaked up the sun and enjoyed the beautiful breeze coming off the lake.. Not many boats out there today and the lake is SOOOO blue! I just love this time of year here..

I just bought a reusable Advent Calendar (http://www.christmasloft.com/XmasLoft/catalog/xloft_prodview.cfm?pcode=020005). I think it's beautiful and would love to put it out now, but DH thinks its gaudy, so I'll wait until Thanksgiving to make him suffer looking at it.

Of course, DS4 wants to know what treats I'll be loading into it. Guess I should start looking at Walmart and Target. Once I start looking for treats, I may be happy that this Advent Calendar only counts down the days in December, instead of the full 40 days of Advent. Imagine...40 days * 2 kids = 80 treats and some of the cubby's for treats are pretty large. So, thankfully, I've got to fill 24 days * 2 kids = 48 treats.

Any ideas for affordable treats that aren't candy? I was thinking about balloons, glow bracelets, crayons, etc...
