It's SNOWING

It's snowing in Grimsby right now and settling. Must been up to an inch deep now and it's been less thatn half an hour.
Let's hope it stops by the morning as I want an early 15-20 mile run in my shorts (always fun when your sweat actually freezes and you have icicles hanging from your hair!)

You're a glutton for punishment, I don't even enjoy walking in this cold weather let alone running half naked

Will probably go out for a drive around now just to block the roads more and I'll make sure I increase my speed accordingly as that appears to be the convention in this situation.

I heard that the posties have a competition to see who can wear their shorts for the longest. I though it was only up here but maybe its all over the country. We still have 2 posties in shorts. And my oldest ds is also still in shorts, he wears trousers to school but changes into shorts as soon as he is home

we've had loads of snow tonight, its been snowing almost continously for about 3 hours now. Looks like we will all be out sledging in the morning.

How is the snow down south now?

I had a nice 11 miles run in my shorts in the snow at 6am this morning. Would have gone out earlier but it was snowing quite heavily so I waited until it eased off. Cold running SW but a lot warmer running north out of the wind. Nice to run on too when people haven't walked over it. Plenty of "Oi Nutter!" looks from people wrapped up in coats, scarves, gloves etc.

Got to go to work at 4:30am tomorrow which should be fun. There's about a foot of snow on my windscreen and a layer of ice below that. Luckily I picked up a bottle of de-icer on Thursday Will probably take twice as long as usual to get there as the roads look iffy. Gritter out at 6:15am but slightly too late.

we have got loads of snow this morning, kids have been out playing in it and then after lunch we are all off sledging. We are forecast to get more for the next few days too . its looking good for a white christmas

We had a light dusting to go with the snow we had the other day. Work has been horrenduous, yesterday all the crews were solid for 12 hours with no breaks as the calls were being backed up.

The hospital has seen nearly 100 patients in 2 days who have fallen over in the snow/ice

Well we have a nice blanket of snow here in Blackpool this morning! I bought a pair of pretty white Ugg Snowboots yesterday so I was delighted to get them on so off I toddled (quite literally) to the post office only to be attacked with snowballs by a bunch of teenage boys who thought I was "hot" (I was like, "no I'm cold, I'm really really cold") and who wanted my number and proceeded to pelt me with snowballs in an attempt to get me to give them my number . I'm 25 ! I was going to say "I'm old enough to be your mother!" but I'm not yet so I just put my head down and kept toddling on. Damn me for being hobbit sized! And also, maybe its not the BEST idea to wear a mini skirt in sub zero temperatures . However in all fairness to myself, I had two pairs of leggings on, and it was the only thing that looked good with my pretty white snowboots .

I would like to say this, if your out driving be extra careful. I went to the worse incident I have ever been to in my job yesterday. It may have only been 2 cars but people's Christmas have been ruined
