It's Snowing...

Started about an hour ago and we already have about an inch here in North Jersey. I'm hoping we close early today because my office is on one of the worst highways in NJ and it's already a mess. On a good day it takes me about 40 minutes to get home, so who knows what it'll be like in the snow...

Anyone else snowbound?

Two kids are home sick so I just have to pick up my older one later. I wish my DH had taken my advice and worked from home today.

Live near rt 17 do ya?? I am off of Route 9 in Western Monmouth...we started sleeting right before 9 AM, and the snow about 1/2 later.. My kids had school today. My town only cancelled afternoon kindergarten.

MY DS in Southern California had a snow day yesterday!! His siblings were jealous!!

As a south jersey person, I must admit, I am a little bit jealous. I know snow is a pain in oh so many ways, but I would like to see a little snow before Christmas.....we always get the rain down here!!!!!!!

It's still coming down like crazy here on Long Island. We're supposed to go Christmas caroling to shut-ins tonight -- I just want to shut myself in, have the fireplace going and chill.

It snowed like crazy here over the last couple of days. We got up to 8 inches in some places. To some it doesn't sound like much but for here it's a lot. Mostly icy and that's what the big mess is. I got stuck on the freeway for 6 hrs last night. got off at 4:30pm and didn't get home until 10:30pm. I even started to slide off the freeway sideways even when I wasn't moving. I was freaking outThe weather says it's going to get real bad this weekend. We'll see I guess.
