We'll be there October 8-13 at the BWV :cool1: We can't wait!!! We were so psyched to learn that we can use snack credits on the DP at
F & W

DH is hinting at it! :thumbsup2 We went this past November and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - ALONE for a change! Hoping that he will firm up his plan for us to go again this fall when we are there in a couple weeks. I was sick this last time, so it took a little of the fun out of it for me, but it was still great.

We're going October 18-28!!! We love the F&W Festival - it's one of the primary reasons that we like going to WDW in October.

Have a great time! :goodvibes

:drinking1 Our 1st trip during F&W this Oct.

Will have youngest DS with us, hope it's kid friendly & things don't get too rowdy strolling around the lake...sloppy drunks are scary!

Haven't decided if we'll spring for one of the more expensive dinners, yet...any suggestions from veterans?

I don't think you'll have any trouble bringing your DS. We've done F & W twice and I have never really seen anyone too intoxicated. I go mostly for the food part...I'm not much of a drinker so my observations have been while I was completely sober...LOL. We have never done one of the special dinners...might consider it this year...I'd love to hear other's experiences....

Love F&W, wouldn't miss it! I'm not sure exactly when and where, but we will be there!!

keishashadow-DD has been at F&W at age 6 and 7 and it was fine. we stay sober and haven't noticed any bad, drunken behavior. she loved, loved, loved the kool & the gang concert last year!!

Definitely will be there for F+W this year, hopefully with the same crew we went with in 2004. It is so much fun! I think we are going to stay at the Swan this time. I have not stayed there before, but I LOOOVE the Westin's heavenly beds!

We must be certifiable. Not too soon after we paid for the WDW vacation we're taking the kids on in 35 days, we started talking seriously about taking a no-kids-getaway back to WDW in October.

Our plan? Get sloshed at the F&WF. :lmao:Our last no-kids-getaway was in 2000, and we didn't get sloshed. We definitely need to make up for that.

We're talking about staying at the Beach Club, so we'll be within walking distance of Epcot. I'm still very surprised that the DH wants to do this rather than a trip to a Caribbean island. But HEY! I am NOT complaining. :hyper:

I do have a question though -- we're thinking of going at the start of the F&WF. Would it be a good idea to wait a week or so after the opening, or would it be okay to be there when it starts?

And... since this will be our first F&WF, any advice will be much appreciated!

We'll be there with the kids (Sept. 30th - October 7th)!! Can't Wait!! We're also going for MNSSHP!!

Wow, sounds like you guys are going to have a blast!! Good for you!! We've been to F & W at the very beginning and toward the end one year and did not notice a difference in either trip....both were awesome and got us hooked on F & W. First trip was for a family wedding and we all hit WDW a few days before....we had a blast....anyway, if you're doing the DDP, you can use snack credits for F & W samples....a huge bonus! I think you're smart to stay at an Epcot resort....you will LOVE the ability to walk to and from your resort. Have you considered renting points at either BCV or BWV? If you are traveling during the week, it's a great deal....weekends are more points so not a good....just a thought...have fun :)

we'll be there! Haven't decided on the dates or resort yet...I was hoping to stay at one of the Epcot resorts....:) We'll be bringing our two princesses as well...they both have been since they were born!! :)

We'll be there too! Sept. 28-Oct. 7 at CSR. This is our first F&W too. I didn't know you could use snack credits for the booths..can someone give me some more info about that?

From what I read on allearsnet.com, you can pretty much use you snack credits at any of the booths unless otherwise noted. One snack credit = one sample/booth. I don;t think snack credits can be used for drinks, just the food. My guess is DH and I will pool all our snack credits and use them for lunch one day.....

That's the plan at least for right now, and it will be a first for DH and I, of course we also hope to get to go to MNSSHP on the same trip. :cool1:

we'll be there oct 27 to 3rd nov for honeymoon. great that snacks are counted, but glad we can't have wine - we would have wound up totally sloshed on our first day in epcot.

Thanks for the info! We came home last time with 2 snacks left, this will help us use them all I'm sure! :thumbsup2
