It's probably been asked before, but best time to visit??

I am new here----I was at Disneyland this past weekend, loved it, and want to go again next year. I will be coming into some money in February and would love to return
When would be the best time to come? I will probably be by myself....also, about how much money would be good enough for a visit? I was thinking of coming on a Thursday and staying overnight.....what days of the week are the best?

I like early May. The weather is good, but not to hot. The crowds are typically pretty low early in the month. At the end of May things pick up a bit. Early March before spring break starts is also pretty good, but its more likely to rain then.

Money really depends on your spending habits. For an offsite hotel you are looking at $100-150 a night. A park hopper for two days is about $100. Food- I would say $50-60 per day. Then any shopping you would want to do.

We have been in May and have liked that time. Last year we went to WDW after the kids got out of school, like May 19-26ish, and the first part of the week was really great, that last weekend, things did pick up.

We went to DL this past May about the same time and the crowds were great until the end of the week.

It is nice weather and you get the Christmas decorations and no crowds! You just have to be willing to skip school if you have kids.

Beginning of June was great! Low crowds, extended hours, and great weather!
