It's our First Anniversary.....

..and my wife and I will be celebrating in WDW!

I could use a suggestion on a nice (and obviously quiet/romantic) restaurant in WDW. We're staying at the Hilton in DT.

It will be a Sunday evening (the 21st) if that makes any difference.

We'd prefer not to drop an arm and a leg - if at all possible. Perhaps a place that's moderately priced, but still meets our parameters.

Get a window seat at California Grill, located at the Contemporary Hotel. Make your PS for about one hour before the MK Fireworks and you'll have a front row seat for a really cool dining experience. It's fairly expensive but not too bad.

if california grill is booked, give artist point at the wilderness lodge a thought. excellent food, quiet atmosphere, and romantic.

CG can get expensive, though it is very nice. So let me give you some other suggestions.

Narcoossees, Yachtsmans St, Flying Fish, Bistro De Paris, San Angel Inn, Le Cellier, Brown Derby

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to reply. I looked over the menu (thanks grumpy!) and we're gonna go with CGrill and just skip apps and drinks to keep the bill under $100.

It doesn't get much more quiet and romantic than Palio's at the Swan.

I agree with SMFNJ.
On our honeymoon last Dec., DH and I were putting at the Fantasia fairway one evening and it started to rain. Our hotel was not convenient from where we were, so we ran to the nearest one--Swan. We were almost soaked through and hungry. We passed the Palio and the hostess invited us in, wet clothes and all.
The atmosphere is very romantic, with dim lights and a walking band. The food there is Italian, and it was exquisite. I had salad and a seafood ravioli dish, and DH had soup and fish I think. We even split dessert. And since we are not crazy about alcohol, the bill came to about $70.
We are picky food people, but this place was so good that we asked to talk to the manager regarding our wonderful experience!
