Congrats to you both! I seriously thought about adding on at SSR to get the treehouses, but decided to go with a VWL contract instead. Heading into week 2 of the ROFR process and time is D-R-A-G-G-I-N-G.

I called this morning and tried to get a treehouse for the nights of Dec. 2 & 3. It wasn't available, which didn't surprise me since I'm so far into the home resort window. That's ok...I created a waitlist for one!!

I did book a 2 bedroom though instead which is great too! Requested Congress Park...DTD view!

Good to know ! seems like it's a little more than $1.50 per point they're charging ( well, for SSR at least - wonder if pricing differs depending upon resort ).

Glad you at least got 2br villa. We stayed at SSR for first time in August in 2 bedroom in Paddock and we really liked it, the furnishings are beautiful, seemed very upscale

I'm not sure why they are making us pay closing costs for an add on or how they calculate the amount, but it didn't bother me. It's a pretty small amount of money.

I think the villas seem very upscale too. We just had our second stay at SSR and we totally loved it. We had the best bus service of any WDW trip we've ever had! The staff is so friendly and helpful too. We just love it there!
