It's official..We are going to DISNEY...AGAIN!

It's finally official. The flight is booked and we are going to Disney!!!! Even though it's not til october I can't wait. But now there is so much planning to do. See the thing is we are going with my DH's brother and his family and my in-laws My DH's family does not plan much out in advance and i'm dying to get on the phone and make our ADR's. but my DH keeps telling me that I've never vacationed with his family before and they might do things that I don't like...So i'm trying to think that I have to try to not let things bother me and just think to myself "WHO CARES, I'M GOING TO DISNEY!!

The only thing we have planned right now is our air fare. No idea where we are going to stay, what ADR's we will eventually make..I'm clueless and it's driving me nuts. I've been to Disney for the past 3 years. this will make it my 4th year in a row, 3rd time with my DH. Disney is extra special to us. It's where i knew i wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. After spending a week with him and not wanting to kill him I knew he was the one. haha. We have been married for about 8 months now. This trip will come one month after our anniversary. But we are calling this trip our anniversary trip..and probably our last trip alone before we start trying for kids

Let me tell you abour ourselves:
DH-31 hard worker, the most loving and forgiving guy out there. he holds a grudge on no one. He tell me its very hard to say no to me. So when he heard his family was going to Disney he knew we'd be going to for the fact i love his twin nieces and want to be there to for their first time in Disney. He's a big kid at heart. He can't sit still he's always playing some kind of sport. He's my best friend and the love of my life. I can't wait to see how great of a dad he's going to be some day.

Me-26 Disney fanatic and i'm slowly becoming DIS obsessed. I hadn't been to disney in years until my cousin invited me along on her trip 3 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. I just loving being down there. you can never be in a bad mood. everything is just PERFECT


But when I have more updates for the trip I'll add them we still have a while to go. We are going OCT 3-10th and i'm hoping time just flies by!

I hope you, Dh and his family have a wonderful trip to Disney in October!! It will probably be a bit more stressful considering you are going to be vacationing with the in-laws. If you have some nice restaurants you know you want to go to, I'd tell your Dh he has a certain time to ask his family if they want to come along and if not make some ADR for 2 at your fav. restaurant. There's no need they need to be attached at the hip down there. I went with my in laws last summer to Ocean City, MD and it wasn't fun for me b/c I was with them..it wasn't his parents but the sister-in-law that drove me nuts. Anyways not that your in laws are like mine, but make sure you make this trip fun for you to and not feel like you are tagging along with them..

I ony wish the not being attached at the hip is true. They are a very close family and he already told me he wants to be with them most of the time. he doesn't see why we need to go out on our own when it's a family vacation. I see his point but he sees mine to with wanting to be along for some parts. So a compromise is in order. I have already gotten him to guarantee me we will be staying on property even if his family doesn't. He likes the perks of staying on property and he said he won't budge on that. I will feel bad that his family won't be at the same hotel as us, but his brother always wants the best deals and is dead set on stayin off property. So i guess as i think about it, if we are at a different hotel, we will be getting a lot of "us" time hopefully soon i'll have more updates. It's driving me nuts not knowing where we are staying at!

I wish i had an update...we are still deciding where to stay. It's looking like we are the only ones staying on property. His brother won't pay a lot for a hotel (even though he's the only one with kids and you would think he would want a decent place to stay with all the naps and times spent in the room). And DH parent's are staying where BIL stays so they can be with the kids. Totally understandable. So now it's up to me to convince DH that we can afford to stay at WL. Our last trip we stayed at POR and loved it and it's looking where we might be staying this trip. Even though i loved it, i'm hoping to stay somewhere new. DH's dream hotel is the Boardwalk Inn. He's loves the idea of being on the boardwalk..but that might take a couple of years to save up for that. Maybe our first trip with kids. Who knows.

AHHHH...HELP!!!!! my in-laws all want to stay at a house off property and it doesn't sound very appealing to me. By in no ways am I a snob. But I'm going on vacation and i don't feel like doing dishes, laundry, making a bed and cleanin up around a house is a vacation. i want to be able to relax. it's my only vacation this year. and i want to enjoy it. But my DH keeps telling me it's his family vacation and we just gotta go with the flow and do what they do. He doesn't understand it OUR vacation too! no one has talked about ADR's and it's only 3 months away. But my DH doesn't want me to say anything cuz he doesn't want his family think i'm takin control. I don't want to take control. i just don't want us without choices when my in laws finally decided to plan our vacation. HELP what do i do
