The DW website is also showing zero availability for our dates at the WL, not only for the just-announced discount, but for standard priced rooms too. Has the fall become so popular that all resorts, even those under construction (WL pool) are completely full?!

Same for our dates. I counted at least 6 resorts completely unavailable discount and non-discounted.

From what people have been telling me (maybe just to calm me down ), that October will be busy with people staying at resorts and restaurants will be busy, but parks won't be that crowded. Not empty by any means, but not packed. Reasoning is that the locals/day trippers won't be in the parks during that time.

Fingers crossed, a crowded resort I can handle.

I move down in October to start my cultural rep program!!

We're doing a couple days beforehand to play & hit up some halloween parties! Oct 8-14th!!

We are booked in the FWC from 9-30 to Oct. 3 so maybe I will miss the large crowds. Looking forward to Epcot Food & Wine Festival. My family are all adults who don't really love the thrill rides but there are a few new things I want to see/do since I haven't been to WDW since 1994 (like "Be Our Guest", Mine Train, etc.). I will get to the FP+ scheduling the minute I'm able!

Many schools will be out that week. Crowds will be moderate, but manageable.

Yup! It was actually addressed to my mother who hasn't been to Disney in over 15 years! They allowed me to use it anyway though. We rely on discounts to make our trips possible and we know POFQ doesn't get discounts often so we decided to give it a shot! I hope you have an amazing trip!

Told my DH that that just means we can spend that much more at the World, but I'm not too sure he agreed with me! Lol! Can't wait to get our magic bands. Thinking of decorating them like I've been seeing others do. We are surprising our DD for her 10th birthday with this trip.
