Yep, folks think that times may be tough now, back then there was a "misery factor" and interest rates of over 15% for home ownership.
Carter or Buchanan is ont the top of the list of worst presidents ever.
Bush may have been polorizing as Clinton was, but both are FAR from the worst.

Good point. Obama isnt going to change ANYTHING concerning either theater of action, Afghanistan or Iraq. We will remain untill its time to leave, no matter how long.
But, im sure as soon as he takes office, all of a sudden, these military theaters of action will be moral,needed,virtueous and just.
that is the biggest farce of the whole Democratic campaign of pretty much all of the candidates; The notion that they will "change" things or remove our troops from Iraq. No such thing will happen, untill its the proper time.

You should stop asking legitimate, common sense questions. Do you not understand that the war will be over and all the troops home by February 1? Do you not know that in two weeks snow will turn into gum drops and rain into strawberry soda? Do you deny that Washington D.C. will be home to a magic heard of unicorns?

The election is over. Obama won. He now has a very difficult task of cleaning up the mess that the Republican party left us in. He's already being blamed for it and isn't even president yet. Yep -- It's all Obama and Bill Clinton's fault. Never mind the last 8 years of bad governing, arrogance and deceit.

I'm proud to be an Obama supporter and am more than thrilled to see our country being led in a new direction.

I don't think it was Congress doing the counting. I'm sure they had calculators, and special computer programs. The idea of them doing it themselves is.......so alien.

Good for Obama. I'm not his biggest fan, but good for him. His cheerleaders in the media can now rest easy.
