I keep saying that WDW is addicted to discounts and special offers!!! Wish I could take advantage of one. I still have a pin for FD that we could use for a Thanksgiving trip, but I just had eye surgery. Hopefully it will be better and I can go either for Thanksgiving or Mardi Gras with FD!!!!

I'm anxious to see if they really offer FD for most of next year.

I just completed a chart with all the regular rack rates for the deluxes and CSR for the third week of January so I'll be ready!

I'm hoping for 40% off deluxe, since it's just me and my husband and we have AP's, I think that works out better for us.

We are a family of 5 so I think the FD would work for us the best - I am putting my spreadsheet together tonight! And calling in the A.M. so excited!!!!!

I've also spent the afternoon running numbers and coming up with other choices in the event we can't get a discount applied to our current ressie. It will be DH, two kids and I plus my parents for three days and then just DH, the kids and I for another 6 days after they leave. We have lot of options on our own but my parents really want OKW (current booking) or would be good with Saratoga Springs.

Nothing is Official until the booking agents will admit to there being a discount and even then they will get it wrong!

I wonder what I will be about to do with my current ressie? We already got the free quick service pin, but upgraded to basic dining. I also have a room only reservation for 1 night. The one night is for the night before my package deal starts. Would I be able to able a room discount to my one night room? And if its basic dining that is announced, would I be able to call and have that applied also? I paid in full for the one night room, but only put my $200 deposit for my package deal. I hope something would come out of it, that would make this trip even more magical. Got my three round-trip airline tickets last week, $418.00 for three. I am psyched!

Yes, assuming the room is available. You may have to change room categories or resorts, but most room discounts can be used for one night.
