It's official! I'm so not "IN"! ;-)

It has been announced that new "IT" color to wear in 2009 is yellow!!! I have never met a shade of yellow that doesn't make me look jaundiced or sea sick!! So, there you have it, 2009 is not my year for fashion fabulosity, prowess, or popularity.

Anyone else in my sinking social ship? Or, will you be king/queen of the Haute heap in 2009?

It will have to pass me by then as well. I do well with most of the warm colors, but I'm afraid I have the same problem with yellow that you do.
My yellow will have to be more along the gold jewelry line. I like yellow, but it usually doesn't like me. lol

Ah, my teenage dd is, of course, ahead of the fashion curve. Yellow is her favorite color and she looks great in all shades of yellow and already has a whole closet full of yellow items.

I, on the other hand, look horrible in yellow. I haven't been in fashion for quite a few years now so I'm used to it.

Yellow...blech. It's the last color way on the bottom of the list as far as my favorites go. There is only one shade of yellow I like, and that's the Antique Yellow in one of the bathrooms in our house. Nice! I'm shocked! LOL!

Yellow? I guess it's not too much of a surprise considering kids are still running around with their back ends hanging out their pants. When will that be corrected?

Yellow actually has a widening effect and I think I'm wide enough, so no thanks. Not to mention I have to no desire to look like a banana.

I don't wear yellow either. I prefer black. Goes with anything.
