And I did it this morning before the kids were awake enough to notice, because I cried as I booked. Surely I'm not the only one who gets all teary eyed while booking a Disney trip?!? It's why I prefer to do it online and not on the phone.
We are booked in a LM room for 6 nights/7days. The countdown begins, 333 days until our trip.
And by driving down, and paying OOP for food, I am estimating we are saving about $1500-$2000. Also driving allows us to have the kids thinking we are going on a boring (to them) road trip to look at old plantation houses and Civil War battle fields until we are a few hours from Disney
I'm so excited! I went to Disney for the first time in March 2011, and I am absolutely hooked. I hope we can keep it a secret from the kids, because I really want them to be surprised with a Disney trip. It is an experience I think would be neat for a child and one I want them to have.

But they are very excited to be staying in an AoA LM room before our Dream cruise. Hope everyone has a wonderful 2013 vacation!!!
