Yes, I will be in Naples. 3 pounds in one week huh? I told my hubby I needed lipo BEFORE going to Italy. He just laughed. Ok, throw some recommendations my way. Where is a good place to eat? Any near the San Carlo? That is our main destination and reason for this trip. Oh yeah, and where did you stay while in Naples? Thanks.

We stayed at the TLA hotel on the support site, I believe it is a Navy Lodge. The hotel is only 2 years old and nice compared to what used to be there. A great restaurant near the support site is the Opera House, it was recommended to us by the hotel staff and it was great. Another staff recomendation is Pozzouli, there are a lot of fresh seafood places down there. The best of the best is in Gaeta (another military town 45 min. north) and there you have Il Nostromo and Attratino's....simply the best of the best. I don't know of anything downtown by the San Carlo as I tend to stay away from the downtown area, but if you stay at the TLA they will probably be able to make a recomendation. I definitely would avoid TGIFriday's as the service is SLOOOOOOW and the food isn't just mediocre.
