I place zero credibility on what all non-managerial CMs say. I've heard otherwise, and you should place zero credibility on that as well because I do. We'll know soon enough.
Yes we will know .......... hopefully by the end of the year.
I shall make my own credibility decisions.
I don't place zero credibility on non-managerial CMs.
Many CMs stay involved with management, take interest and know things.
Well ....
I knew DQ closing date before anyone published it.
DD used to work there.
I knew 3 weeks before any blogger/vlogger anybody announced the hat was coming down in DHS.
It came straight from the CMs who were working in the hat to DD, also a CM.
And while so many argued it was moving, I knew it was being destroyed. It was.
I didn't share because if you really know real stuff like that -
you don't share on forums or with people who will share.
I knew Soarin' rehab was happening even when the "almighty" at WDMagic said they were waiting to see if TSMM expansion helped.
I knew it would close for a long time even though everyone swore it would minimal disruption.
Why, because DD who was not a manager was told by her Soarin' manager and even saw all the blueprints.
Folks were still saying it wouldn't close long as the CMs were being offered transfers of their choice if they didn't want to go to the end.
I knew all about the new Memory Maker, the videos they would insert, the interactive things that would come to parks - way in advance.
Been told plenty of things from CMs that turned out to be very true, even when other folks said no way.
Yes some CMs will make stuff up, but plenty know plenty.
Many simply don't care, it's just a job, so they don't listen nor ask.
I've been told a number of things that are to happen this year ... waiting to see if the pan out.
The biggest problem is Disney's poor planning, poor long term vision, constant adjusting of plans, deadlines etc.
And might as well say it - Rivers of Light has shown their inept side.
Just to go back to the possibility ....... the building would need MAJOR renovation.
5 floors cut up bad.
NO windows, that alone could be a structural issue. It wasn't built to have windows.
No real kitchen, would have to be worked in.
2 elevators and LOTS of stairs, as the smaller elevators would likely be changed to staff.
Only 1 freight elevator in back.
Sometimes it's just cheaper to bulldoze and rebuild.
But like we do agree on ........... we'll see.
Given that I think it's not such a good idea ............ could be they will try to put the square peg in the round hole.
