It's official - Disney introduces tiered ticket prices for one day tickets

So Disney has officially introduced demand pricing.
Orlando Sentinel reporting the following prices.
(These are the before tax)

Peak Season - Spring Break, Easter, Summer, Christmas
MK $124, EP, HS, AK $114

Regular season
MK $110, EP, HS, AK $102

Value – Late August and all of Sept
MK $105, EP, HS, AK $97

Here is what I have heard. You very likely could see a lot of refurbs in the value season limiting the experience you have. Disney will play it as you are going during the value season not regular or peak so the experience is not the same.

The Disney press release says pricing goes into affect tomorrow.

I think it's semantics.

The first day of the price change is tomorrow. The first day anyone will see the new prices is March 4th (for single day tickets)

I don't think it'll much different than it always has. Hotels have already had seasonal pricing and refurbs always tended to avoid the popular months.

Only if you are buying a one day ticket I would imagine.

Honestly I don't think it will do much of anything. This is only for one day tickets. And even then a jump from $105 to $124 on a one day MK ticket during peak times isn't really going to stop anyone from going. I don't know if we start to see a drop off until they hit around $150 for MK.

Right....and if they were being fair, REGULAR season would be REGULAR price, with Value season being a bit cheaper and Peak season being a bit more.
