It's OCTOBER !!! - We can say we're going to WDW THIS MONTH !!!

I've never met anyone from here, but I'll be looking for the LGMHPC's!!

We will be there in just 9 days. I can't believe it. I am glad to see there are others out there who worry about last minutes sickness. I can't believe all the months of planning are almost down to the actual trip. Now I just have to pack and do about a hundred loads of laundry and put my order in with gardengrocer.

I worry about us gettig sick too. DH is just getting over a nasty chest cold so hopefully he's gotten being sick out of his system! And I'm just finishing up a round of antibiotics for an inner ear infection (ouch!).

DH did something to his knee during his 60+ mile cycling ride this weekend and is going to see his sports medicine doctor this Friday. It doesn't hurt all the time but he's getting it checked out because he knows there will be TONS of walking in WDW.

Knock Wood - DD's been healthy. Oh, why did I type that. Now she'll probably get sick!

Were also going for another Girls only trip the 16th-22 me27 and my mom(age kept secret due to death threats from mom) Can't wait to be back at the CSR and it's our first MNSSHP I think I should be able to stop working now its not like I get to much done thinking about disney all day

We are hoping for some pixie dust in this YOAMD DVC memebership would be a great way to kick off married life!! But being around the magic will be great too.
I have to say I worry more about our dog getting sick than us. Everytime we go somewhere he has some problem- like he knows we are leaving so he gets worms or some crazy stomach problem. Today it was allergies. He was itching like a madman, crying and rolling around like a lunatic. Chewing chewing chewing his feet, his back- poor thing. WE took him in today and $120 later after the flea meds., heartworm meds, prescription food and now allergy medicine. He will be in very good hands with a trusted friend while we are away, but I can't help but think he's "faking it" b/c he knows we are up to something

21 more days for us!! The kids are so excited you'd think they'd never been to WDW before!! We'll be at the Swan, dh and I have stayed there a couple of times before but this will be the first time the kids have stayed there. I hope they will like it. We'll be at MNSSHP on the 26th. My boys will be dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and Lightning McQueen's Pit Crew Chief.

Woo! Hoo! 12 days, 5 hours, and 20 minutes until we leave!!! I've been avoiding all 'sickly' people and mainlining vitamins for the past month or so to stay healthy. Of course my DD13 sprained her ankle in PE Monday, so we're keeping it wrapped, icing it down, and everything short of casting it to insure it heals on time (no more PE until after the trip!! ) I remember this exact thing happened a few years ago. We had to rent a wheelchair. She loved it (of course! she didn't have to walk), but I was very uncomfortable pushing her around like she was disabled, and then have her pop up at each ride to get on (It wasn't broken, so it wasn't casted or a 'visible' infirmity) We never got any preferential treatment though, it was the just the 'perception'.

I also have 9 days till the big day. Here's wishing for great health too ( a Mom's biggest fear on vacation I guess). I'm going on a mother/daughter trip and I know my daughter doesn't ever drink enough, so I will be nagging her to keep drinking water the whole time. What are mother's for right!

We're going 10/27-11/1 Pop Century and then moving it to AKL 11/1-11/6.
10 full days of Disney!! Woohoo!!
Just now getting over Strep throat, however. I'm on 2000 mg of amoxicillan (sp?) a day. Think my physician took to heart my fear of being sick at Disney and is pumping me full of antibiotics! Think I'll get better in time my magical vacation?
