It's not too early for a Pre-Trip report

I heard that there is a snowstorm near New York. I hope our flight doesn't get canceled or too much delayed. So far I haven't heard anything about our flight being canceled.

You'll be fine. NYC did get hit with a snowstorm, but it wasn't too bad. All of the airports are open.

Have fun.

Yay!!! Tomorrow is the day!

I am sure you will be fine - if anything is closed, it should be well open tomorrow. But it sounds like everything is open anyways. :)

Thanks D~

I haven't started packing yet :scared1:
I guess our plane to New York will be full because of the storm. It's not the end of the world. We will survive :)

I hope I don't forget to pack anything.

YAY!!!!!!!!!! TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!

Safe travels to you, my friend, and please check in when you can! :)

Hi Lillian!!! Just stopping by to see how your cross country trip is going... I know you probably don't have the ability to check in - but I cannot WAIT to hear all about it when you get home!

Safe travels, my friend!

I have now been gone for 3 1/2 weeks. Today it's one week until I start on the journey home. I haven't had the time to do much on the internet while I have been away. We have stopped driving for the night around 7pm. Then we have to check in to our motel for the night, get something to eat and then prepare our route for the next day. By the time we are done preparing the next day it's time for bed. Today we got in early because we wanted to visit the National Civil Right Museum in Memphis, Tennessee and we are staying in a motel in Memphis, Tennessee for the night.

So far we have driven 6666 miles. We have been in 15 states so far and we are planning on visiting 5 more. And all this just so we can find at least 1 geocache in 20 states when we are done :rotfl: We have found at least 1 geocache everyday since we started on our road trip on the 16th February. In addition we have made sure to take at least one geocache in each state we have driven through.

We were in WDW for 4 days. It was a lot of fun. We have also visited Disneyland i Anaheim for 2 days (1 full day and 2 half days). We liked that Disneyland is so compacted.

Our favorite ride in both WDW and Disneyland is Soarin. We was lucky enough to get on first row on our first ride of Soarin in WDW. We was on 3rd row in Disneyland. I can tell you that 1st row is WAY better than 3rd row.

Sadly I wasn't good at taking pictures the first 2 weeks. It has gotten better now.

I'll write a full report as soon as I'm home again and over the Jet lag.

Thanks for checking in Lillian! I sure wish one of the states you were traveling through was MN - I would have loved meet you!

Glad you are having a great time - it sounds like it's so much fun!

Safe travels, and please let me know when you are safely home. :)

D~

Thank you for asking how our trip is going. That's so thoughtful of you :goodvibes

We are already talking about making another trip to the US but then go to the northern states (all of the states we haven't gotten to on this trip) so it is possible that I will be stopping by your state some time the next few years. It would be great meeting you too some day.

Today we have been in Kentucky and Virginia and back to Tennessee. Tomorrow we're going into North Carolina and if we have time we will be in South Carolina.

I'll let you know when I'm back home :)
