I turn 35 on Monday and I still get zits! What's the deal with that!:headache:
When I was a teen, I thought one perk of growing up would be no more zits!

So, what products do you all use to get rid of the evil pimples and blackheads?

I'm convinced that sea water is the very best thing in the world to prevent zits. It's like natures astringent. At least it works for me. I've thankfully never had any issues with acne.

LOL - yup, I thought that was going to be my one perk too, but no such luck (I'm 35 1/2).

I have had success though by changing my makeup (turns out I was allergic to many ingredients in Clinique and most other commerical brands). I now use Aromaleigh mineral makeup exclusively. Other companies like Everyday Minerals will help too. My skin is nearly clear after 2 months, but I still have clogged pores.

I just read about the Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) and plan to try that out.

I say take a good close look at your skincare and cosmetic routines to see if there could be something there aggrevating your skin.

Good luck and sorry that you are in the same boat as me. It's a stinky boat!

39 here, still get zits *sigh*

I'm told I should consider myself lucky, that most women have big ol' issues with DRY skin at my age. Okaaayyy...

My DD13 used the Oil Cleansing Method for a while, and it seemed to work well. It's messy, takes more time and strongly scented (if you use the Tea Tree Oil) but it definitely worked on her. And her skin has some serious issues with acne, poor thing.

Try not to dry your skin out too much. I was still having skin breakouts in my thirties (and still get an occasional blemish at age 47) and it turned out I needed to lotion my face after showering or washing. I used Lubriderm lotion with 15 spf in it every day on my skin and face and LOVE it.

I'm 40 and now I have some zits and now crow's feet.

It isn't fair.

I use a combo of Nutrigena anti-acne and Este Lauder's cleaning products (I forget the name, it is in the green bottles and I love the facial scrub). I try to not over-wash and over-dry my skin.

I'm 36 and still struggle with it, too. I've started using the Apricot scrub in the morning and that's helping reduce blackheads. And drinking lots of water seems to reduce zits.
