So we get up around 7:30am to make sure we get everyone ready to hit the Road from El Centro by 9am.

We head back El Centro for one last pass thru Mel's Place...and to Top off our Mugs one lastime at Rix Cafe. We also had 2 Table Credits which they let us use on some Breakfast Items we got 2 Very Tasty Bacon Egg and Cheese Crossants and Juice and Milk Plus a couple of Banana Nut Loafs.

I had given up on finding the Goofy Vinylmation keychain...But Mel bought one more...and She was at the Gat separating Rix and Her Place and was like "Honey...I tired one more time for you...but I got...GOOFY!!!"

There's that Magic!!!

So we all do that final look and exhale...sighhh! Not really sad...but not happy either. Glad for the time just hated to see it end...you've all felt it.

We get out of El Centro about 9:15...Left onto LBV Drive then Right onto World Drive...then onto US192...I-4 East... Houston...we have left the Magic!

Next thing you know...We are back at Daytona...I-95 North...I take Florida 9A back as it was the easiest trip around Jacksonville I had ever had...THANK FED!!! Plus I got to see Dames Point Bridge again... Wished I had gotten a profile picture of it.

Crains in the Ship Yard...

That'll probably exhaust all of my Pictures...the rest of the trip was pretty uneventful...Just seemed to take for ever. Made one stop in SC somewhere for snacks and gas...

Whole trip back is a blur to me...as I was semi-sleepy...and not looking forward to work the next day. We made it home at 8:45pm so it took 11½ hours back...pretty slow for me. Traffic was pretty heavy thru SC for some reason. I guess that's all I can remember.

Thank you all for joining...Maybe I can do a 2011 TR...Probably not...but never know...I didn't think there would be a 2010 TR.

I'll leave the TR open for a week or so for comments and responses.

i cant believe its over!!!! nice finish nate!!! its always fun reading your trip reports as it is with the rest of the disdads reports. for some reason, you just never know what is going to be on the next post. glad you guys had a good time and if you are looking for any other vinyl people,key chains etc... just let me know and i will be more than happy to pick them up and send them to you when i go down in 32 days etc.... now, were waiting for the next vacation ticker!!!!!

Nate - I really enjoyed the trip report. You and Mel are raising two great boys and no doubt passing on the Disney gene.
Hopefully you can make it to Disney in 2010...because its such an amazing place...and I love reading your TRs!

Considering you have to buy them blind...I doubt you could find what I wanted...found out the 2 mystery pieces were Chip and Dale...which would be cool...the Bambi one looks similar to Chip. Thanks for offering.

I'm waiting on that ticker too...maybe i need to make a ticker for my ticker...set it for like 2015 or something.
