It's My Birthday Button

We're planning a trip to Disney World to celebrate my daughters birthday. We have one on 8/31 and two on 9/3 (twins). Are the buttons dated? Can I pick them up on the same day? Do I have to bring their birth certificates as proof. What experiences have your children had when wearing the pin? Should I do anything else special? I'm going to order a cake at Chef Mickey's. Thanks. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

We have planned our Disney Vacations during our Middle Sons Birthday. Our first day at the parks we pick up his button, no questions ask and you don't need to show Birth Certificates. He usually wears it a couple of days during his stay. They really make him feel extra special.

We got this for my husband on our last trip. The CM seemed skeptical that he'd actually wear it, but she gave it to us. He wore it and really made our whole day extra magical.

My DD had her 7th birthday while we were at WDW. We were there for several days before her birthday and visited Epcot, MGM and AK before going to MK on the "big day." At each park, we asked for the birthday pin and saved them all for her actual birthday, when she wore them all on one of those birthday hats they sell in the park. After a while she got tired of the hat and just wore one pin on her shirt. Just about every CM we met that day (and many guests) wished her a happy birthday. You should definitely do this - it's a little extra birthday magic. Have a great trip and happy birthday to all!

Ok, I'm embarrased to ask, but I'm going to WDW for MY birthday and I have to ask.......what are the birthday hats they sell?

I know I'm a little old, but I thought it'd be fun for the kids if I got a pin or something to wear.
