You all know what it is. We took our trips in February and in October and now here it is the middle of November, the skies are getting darker, the sun sets earlier and the tempature is dropping.
And now it HAPPENS!!!!!!:scared1:

I've got the "I WANNA GO BACK TO DISNEY WORLD BLUES":sad1: :sad1:
I want to walk right down the middle of Main Street USA with the sun in my face, I want to be on Splash Mountain with my family as we all laugh.
I want to ride the Monorail just because.
Our next trip isn't until 2010 so it's going to be a long bout this time.
Anyone else want to add in here, please do.

I hear ya! I agree with ya!
Winter is now here and the days are short. Do like me and start planning away. Take advantage of the cold weekends and long nights, jump on the DIS, chat it up. Order some new planning books, join TGM/UG and plan away! :goodvibes :woohoo: :yay:

I totally feel for you! I go through the same thing when it starts getting dark at 4:30pm. So to combat that we book a February vacation when we get back from a February vacation. That way we have all year to save and something to look forward to.

Last year we did a cruise. This year is Disney. I started planning it when we got off the ship last year. Bought our plane tickets as soon as I had enough money and found a decent rate and been planning ever since.

Only way to get through these long cold days!

I love my summer vacations, but I NEED my February escape from the cold Northeast!

i haven't been to wdw since 05, so i am long due. i'm having wdw withrawal too..

I know the feeling. Luckily we are leaving in 2 weeks to stay at the Fort. No parks for us this time, just doesn't fit into the budget right now.

If it makes you feel a tiny bit better, it was 37 degrees right outside Disney this morning.

Yes, so jonesing to be with the Mouse!

We agreed to not go this fall, but it's been hard to watch my friends make their treks. And we swore we wouldn't take dd out of school this year to go, so we're looking at next fall before we get there. :sad1:

I think I'll go crank my park music and put some chocolate chip cookies in the oven, put on my mouse ears, and close my eyes as I walk by the kitchen. It will sound and smell like I'm on Main Street, and I can pretend for just a minute......

I can empathize with you. We just got back last Friday from a week at the World. We went from 85 and sunny to 35 and gloomy grey. Yesterday it was 26 degrees when I left for work. 10 degrees with the wind chill. Temps peeked at about 35. I'll take 37 degree morning temps at Disney any day because I know at least there, it has the potential to get up to 65 or 70 with some sun. Once again we asked ourselves on the way home why we continue to insist on living in the Midwest and dealing with the cold and snow every year.

Having only been home for 6 days, we're already longing to go back. The only consolation is that we will be going back in exactly 70 days!
