So today is pics of our day at Dhs, breakfast at Hollywood and vine,toy story mania,etc..

Today was a rough day! we were beat from the previous nights awesomeness! Note to self for next year ; make later adr's the day after mnsshp!! We all got ready and made our way over to DHS for our Breakfast with the playhouse disney characters!

Smart me ran to toy story mania to get fast passes while John went with the kids and got our table!(this paid off big time!) Hollywood and Vine was a buffet like most character meals. To be honest it was our least favorite and we will not be going there again next trip. The character interaction was decent though. Sorry, but apparently all these pics are sideways..oops

When we got over to toy story mania to use our fast passes the ride was broken down..doh But they gave us new fast passes and told us to come back in an hour and we would get right through! A quick pic of the outside of TSMM

While waiting to ride TSMM we decided to take some pics with the Cars characters! Jack was in all his glory! The waiting spot for this pic was terrible.. it was in direct sunlight and I thought we all might melt!

After waiting there for about 10 years..or what felt like thatm we got our pic and headed back over to TSMM and were able to use our extra fast passes!

We all absolutely LOVED this ride! Disney did an awesome job!! Jack was in all his glory with this ride!!

After that Kayla reallly wanted to see the Muppets 3d show! I gladly obliged! I loved the Muppetts as a child and so does she!

After that we went to one of my favorite spots, The Honey I Shrunk The Kids Play lot!

After all that fun we decided to walk around a bit and catch the beauty and the Beast show. We soon would be meeting up with our friends from back home for lunch at 50's PTC!

You are killing it today....so many updates and I love them all!!!! You really loved this party huh? It was fun. Looks like you lucked out too and got a slower one. I hate the crowded ones. The kids are so adorable! I like the family pics of you all with the characters.

In August we're going for at least 12 nights and they can't miss that much school. I'd love to get a big group of us to go though. It'd be a blast.

After Beauty and the beast it was time to meet up with our friends. We walked over to 50's ptc. The wait here was horrible and Jack was in absolute terror mode!! Eventually we got seated and I felt terrible for our waiter. There was absolutely no pleasing Jack. and believe me he tried!!I tgried to pass the time by taking some pics!

So here's the deal. the appetizers stunk!! But the entree was pretty great. I did not love my friend chicken, but I LOVEDDD John's pot roast! In addition to the apps we were able to get milkshakes as our drinks. They were also delish! I forget what we had for dessert..sorry

After that lovely dining experience we decided to do a few more rides with our friends and then head back to the resort to chill and prepare for our dinner at the Spirit of Aloha.. yeah we booked 3 meals that day.. it wasn't the best idea! i tried to cancel the SOA but they would have charged me

So we got back to the resort and chilled for a bit and all took showers!! It was incredibly hot that day and we all needed to freshen up! lol After freshening up we headed over to the ploy for the dinner. While waiting I did what... thats right, took pics!! (again sideways, sorry)

I gotta tell you, we were seated and met our server and I just about fell out of my chair! She was about 75 years old..literally. I was afraid every time she came near me that she would drop the food on us or the drinks. She was lovely minus being extremely forgetful lol! Another problem with this dinner is that you are seated next to strangers. We had a 50/50 experience! The people to left of us were great.. the people to the left were complete racists redneck a*sshats! The show was eh.. it was fun for John because he got to go up with the birthday people and look like a fool doing a hula dance!! Then Kayla got to go up with the kids, and she liked that! All in all we are happy we didn't cancel but the food stunk, the service was lousy and the show wasn't spectacular. Maybe we were just too tired to enjoy the show, but the food really was not worth 2 TS and def not worth it to pay oop! It was incredibly fun to dress up in a theme though!

After a longgg day the kids were tired and passedout quick. As you can see Jack loves his big sis!

Ha all of us would be out of control! I completely fell in love with Mnsshp!!Thinking of going back gets me through rough days! Both parties we went to were slow! Friday may have been a tad busier but not enough to affect wait times on rides. Everything was still walk on!! Next year i plan to devote more time to character pics!

Thanks I had fun with the poly theme!I really think SOA is hit or miss. I suppose I should not be so harsh in my ratings. What I like may not be your cup of tea, but what I don't lie may be. I would say to those who haven't tried it to try it, just don't expect too too much?? I think the terrible couple next to us ruined it as well.

The party was so not crowded though! I think I just got pics when everything was going on..(hallowishes/parade). It was so nice to have such low crowds... although character lines were out of control!

Ok, forgive me now.. This day is kind of a blur I'm hoping once I start posting pictures it will jog my memory! I do know, that both Kayla and John were super excited about going here! Kayla loves all things earth related, and John loves all things mechanical,electronical,educational,etc.. so this was perfect for both of them. I was also super excited because last trip ("2005) we literally ate there and then left! This was supposed to be my time to get to know the park...more on that later. Ok, so the day started off as any other..tired,cranky, then excited lol. We all got ready and headed over to Epcot. We had adr's for Akeshur's this am. We were hoping the breakfast was good here, because in 2005 we went for dinner and it was terrrrible! Although princess interaction was fab, so that made up for the sucky food! I hear the food selection now is much better than it was in 2005. We got to Epcot and had a bit of time to waste so we looked around a bit. We couldn't do much as world show case was not open just yet.Norway was up and running though. The kids started doing the Kidcot stuff, but we winded up not doing any of it after breakfast Next trip i suppose? After walking around a bit, we headed over to Akeshur's for our adr... it was sooooooooo freaking hot that day, it was ridiculous! I remember cursing them for not having more shade in that area! Mary Poppins was out front and I don't know how that poor lady didn't pass out right there! Ok, hows about some pics, then more chat..

Ok, so finally our name was called and we were ushered in to take a pic with a princess. The princess today (and most days from other TR's that I have read) was Belle. We did NOT like this Belle. She was rude and pushy, and seemed annoyed to be there. We got our picture and were seated. Our waiter was cuuuttteeeyyy!! LOL. He was quick, and so pleasant. One of the best servers we had our whole trip! The food here was very good. The potato casseroley stuff was amazing again. I think I ate this stuff in some form every day! Hence the weight gain by the end of the trip! The buffet here was pretty good too! Def a bit different than others, but good! Lots of fresh fruit, and sliced deli meats,pastries, etc... The princesses this day were, Aurora,Mulan,Jasmine, and Idk.. thats all the pics I have. so maybe that was it?

Jack truly loved the princesses! and they loved him, see..

All the princesses with the exception of Belle were wonderful, and paid extra attention to Jack, which I thought was sweet!

I also felt these girls looked very much like the characters they were portraying, especially Mulan and Jasmine!

I'd like to add, that the chef here was amazing and made Jack special waffles that were egg and nut free, and found him some rice milk! you can see a bit of the left over waffle here lol!

After that, I decided to check out Kringla bakery, across from Akeshurs.. I had to see what all the fuss was about with this school bread.. well, after seeing it up close and personal I knew! I also knew we would be back very soon to try it out, along with other yummy treats!

Ok, so after the fun bakery timing, we all had to go potty. While waiting we took some more pics

After that we decided we would walk back to the non world show case part of Epcot, but we ran into some cool characters..matter of fact, we were walking and a Cm pointed and said go.. and what do ya know.. it was Fiestaish Donald! As you can see we were all super stoked to see him!

After hanging with him for a hot minute, we decided to check out the inside of Mexico. It was so pretty! The kids had fun making a mask here, and we sent home a video post card! That was really cool! We then decided to go on the three caballeros(sp?) ride. Lemme tell you, what a great ride on a super hot day!

Ok, after this we decided to go back to the other half of Epcot and see what we could get down with!

According to pictures, we decided to go do The seas with nemo and friends. I'm not sure I mentioned it earlier, but I reallllly hate rides with mechanical belts. I always feel like I'm going to fall into or out of the ride. Especially with a 35 lb kid who is very awkward hanging off of you. The ride was cute. Boring,. but cutesy. We did LOVE the aquariums afterward though! They were awesome!

You can probably take a good guess as to why I needed to get back to the world show case.. That's right, that school bread was calling my name!! Next year i will study the Epcot map while on our 18 hour drive to Florida, because we took the long way back to Norway..and by long way, I mean the exact opposite way we intended on going lol. We did get to do some character pics and catch a cool show along the way at least!

This guy was giving me SERIOUS anxiety!

Now where were we.. that's right, snack time, Norway style!

I decided we HAD to try the school bread,the iced pretzel, and the horn!

OMGOMGOMG! They were all soo soo soo good! That school, bread.. yeah.

After this we decided to head back to the other half of Epcot again lol. This time they saw water shooters on the ground and had to play in them!

At this point we had a problem. Jack pooped and I for some ridiculously dumb reason was out of diapers and didn;t bring a change of clothes. Luckily I took his pants off before the water, but not his shirt..der. I had to find one of the baby stations. Thank god for them! I was able to get a package with 2 diapers,wipes,butt cream, and something else for 6.99! not bad really. What was bad is the shirt I had to purchase for 14.99. Luckily he loves it and wears it all the time now! The baby station is great though, def 2 thumbs up form me!

After that fiasco we decided to try out spaceship earth

Kayla and I did the not so scary side! It was fun! Anyone done the faster side?? is it really that bad?

Anywho, after that it was about time for the special b-day dinner I had planned for John at Coral reef!

It was awesome in here! I really love Disney's attention to detail!

As we walked into the dining room the kids and John were blown away They really had no clue!! and honestly neither did I. I mean I saw pics and researched it, but it is really amazing in there! Because I had set up some special surprises we were seated at table right in front of the tank and were greeted by this big guy

Then this guy came down and John was like holy guacamole! I totally earned best spouse ever points!

The kids were absolutely blown away by this It truly made the trip for me!

Oh yeah and they got these, and were reallly impressed. Kayla was truly in awe!

John had a special bday menu as well, but apparently photobucket didn't upload it??

Then it was time for some chow. The rolls were eh.. cool thing here was we were able to order the smoothie type drinks as our drinks, plus our waiter gave us a soft drink. He was an old man from the Philippines. he liked us quite a bit, and the feelings were mutual! As an app John got the crab soup thing, and I got the surf and turf thingy..lol

I didn't care for the shrimp, but the steak and polenta was amazing

John liked his soup quite a bit, I did too!

So this whole time Jack was pretty miserable. It was a LONGGG HOTT day for him. Thank goodness we were where we were, because any other restaurant wouldn't have been as entertaining as a huge fish tank!

Dinner came and Jack just couldn't stay awake!

Pics of our dinner, Kayla got the pizza, I got the steak dish, and John got the Mahi mahi. His was delish. Mine was good, but I was kinda steaked out at this point ;/

And for dessert, baileys thingy, and creme brulee. Both were yum! Oh and teh kids make your own sundae. Kayla ate a bite. She was way too full!

Haha, it's ok! i just started back on here a few days agao. now I'm just trying to get it all up! I'm sorry to hear about your trip, but stoked for the good things that are happening in place of it!

Today we had breakfast adr's with our friends from back home.. I'm not sure I have been naming them. They are Michelle,John,Abby(7) and Ali (4). Abby and Kayla if you couldn't tell in past pics are thick as thieves! Abby and Kayla even got the same glasses the same month and neither Michelle or I knew the kids had eye dr appointments. Anywho, we love them bunches, they tour disney way more laxed than we do, but we still think they rule!

Today was their last full day We decided to do breakfast togther at 1900 Park Fare. Ali loves Alice in wonderland, so this was the place to go!

Before I go any further, I think I should add that parking at the Grand Floridian was a biotch! and the parking lot they had for visitors felt like it was for the commoners lol!

When we got the the Grand Floridian we waited in the lobby for our friends. When they got there we all checked in. We actually waited about 15-20 mins until we were seated.

Once we got in we were seated at very big round table and were told the characters would be coming out shortly. Meanwhile we could get some food, and the chef would come out for Jack. This chef was one of the best, I don't recall exactly what he sent out, but he was so kind and caring! Almost all the chef's knocked my socks off when it came to jack;s allergies!

I hate to say this, but I have no buffet pics..but i do have pics of Jack;s food that I thought I forgot. Look at all those wonderful egg/nut free pancakes, and that fruit! Like I said they were great here!

After our wonderful breakfast we all decided to walk around and explore the Grand Floridian. It is really quite beautiful there, but not my kind of resort. I like louder more colorful resorts I suppose. Do not get me wrong, if I had the money to splurge I would def do a weekend type thing there!



Once we explored we went our separate ways. today was a kind of open day for us...at least that is what John thought...
