I left you off at Yachtman's. Very pretty,but no one seemed to know *** they were doing! I also have to add, it was ridiculously FREEZING there!So much so that the girl next to me was given a table cloth to put over her shoulders!! Being so cold ruined the dinner for us, also the fact that the food took soooo long to get to us, and our waitress was always MIA! Normally I wouldn't have minded too much, but we had plans to meet Carrie and Patrick(Lurkyloo) this night!! Did I mention that my waitress dropped my plate with forks on me when clearing the table? She did. Like I said she was very nice, but maybe not waitress material? or maybe they were short handed that night?? At the end of the night they didn't charge us for our meal, but a lot of good that did me when we were leaving the next day!Needless to say, this didn't turn out to be the Happy Birthday I wanted to have for John.Oh well, I tried!

I hate to say this, but I can not recall what we all ate. Steaks for John and I obviously lol. I do remember them tasting very good, but again, we were so uncomfortably cold that we couldn't enjoy it! I do remember my steak came with some sort of au gratiny potato thingy, and it was soooo delish!! I really enjoyed all the cheesey potato dishes they serve in Disney!

After that craziness we headed over to DTD to meet up with my very dear Dis friend Lurkyloo!!

We were all so tired and frazzled, that I felt I made the worse impression ever My kids were grumpy,John was grumpy.i was even starting to get grumpy! I hate that this is the impression we gave Carrie and Patrick, and I am still beating myself up over it!

Can I say that sweet lil' Carrie got fierce with the ladies at the dtd christmas store for me!! I totally didn't expect that kinda tude from her! I was impressed! Btw the lady deserved it, she was being quite snotty! Sure I walked in right before closing, but it was my last chance to get what I needed, and this is Disney, be nice!!Well at least we thought we weren't going to go back...oops

Patrick was kind enough to take this picture for us.. I intended on sending t out as an xmas card, but dropped the ball on cards this year. I still love pic anyway!

At this point it was very late and all parties were tired! Carrie and Patrick walked us over to our car and we said our goodbyes I hope to meet up with them again one day! Carrie has def been one the nicest people I have ever met! Her online persona def lived up to her real life persona!

Once we go back to the resort Jack was having bad tushy problems

Really the whole story is, I went in the store right before closing and the lady was very very rude, so Carrie basically called her out on it, and very calmly but matter of factly told her to chill the heck out we were just trying to find what I needed then we would be on our merry way. You know that kinda sarcastic *****ed up tone but worded so pleasantly the lady couldn't say a thing Yeah my heart grew 3x bigger for Carrie that night!! She's my kind of friend. Says what she's feeling and that's that!

Ok, holy crap guys, I totally forget what happens net in my trip and I don't seem to have pictures?? No I am not on drugs, but I will remind you that I have a terrible remembory!

So I will tell the story to the best of my knowledge.Sorry, way to end the TR

Alrighty, I believe I left off with Jack and a very sore tush. From what I can remember we woke up the next day and skipped breakfast??? Originally this was to be our last day , but last minute we added on a day. I know we needed to check out today, but then check back in as we added the night to the same resort. Luckily we were also able to use our dining credits all day as they don't run out until 12! I honest to god to not recall how things went down, but from pics we ended up back in DTD. I know I HAD to go to goofy's candy company before we came home, so that may have had something to do with it.....

Once we got to dtd we were all starving. I didn't do a whole lot of research on places to eat there, nor did I make any adr's. I relied on my super duper rememboryrotfl2: ).I told John that I had heard Wolfgangs was good, as was Earl of sandwich. We were just about to walk into Wolfgang's when I had a Jenn moment and said no wait never mind. BEST decision I have ever made!! Once saying no to that I said let's go try Earl of Sandwich. BEST SANDWICHES EVER!!!!!I have not stopped thinking about them since we left! I goggled them the minute we were in the car.. guess where the closest one to us is.. that's right DTD !! John got the original, I got the all american, and kayla got the grilled cheese. We each got chips and a brownie. I'm not joking guys, the food was like heaven in my mouth! That means alot coming from a big time sandwich hater!

After rolling out of there I decided it was time to hot up goofys and spend all those last minute snack credits, which I had a TON of left over. For some reason I was semi frugal with them forgetting that we got 6 a day!! I know much better for next time!

Once in Goofy;s it took me a minute to adjust to the awesomeness. I must have stood there a good 10 mins watching them make treats before I got the guts to fill out my own! While I was taking care of that John was goofing around with the kids in the funny mirrors.

In addition to the yummy made snacks, I also bought stuff to take home with us. Pretzels,cookies,etc..

Jack LOVED the world of disney store. I am kicking myself for not buying him those Jack Skellington Mickey Mouse Ear hat

I was able to purchase him a Jack doll though! We call him baby Jack lol I also scored a sweet photo album and scrapbook, along with scrap booking papers! Kayla got a key chain for her school bag(apparently it's the in thing for 2nd graders to do..who knew??) and the dang thing broke a week later!! Jack also got a pin trading lanyard start up set! Pirate themed Can you tell I like pirates!! I forgot to mention that there were a ton of pin traders in dtd this day, i mean seriosu pin traders, with books and books and books FULL of pins! I would have given my first born for some of the NMBC ones!! But I didn't, I kept her Kayla and I had a blast in the pin trading store! Spent entirely too much money there!!!

After our fun timing there it was time to head back to our resort to get ready for the HDDMR!!! Sadly I took NO pictures of it I think we left the camera at the resort?? It is the only logical conclusion I could come up with!!
I will tell you that we LOVED it. I think if we weren;t so tired and so bummed about having to leave the next day we would have enjoyed it even more!! Our server was a bit weird.. kinda queenie (feminine gay for those who dont speak homosexual) and didn't like to bull sh*t much. Reminded me of all my gay friends from NYC. So I got him and he got me. It was nice. The food here was good. Not great, but def fun and edible! If not on the dining plan I wouldn't do it again, but since we will be next sept we are going to do it again! The show was a riot! Even Jack was in stitches, and he didn't even get the jokes lol. It was def a nice family time! I'm sad we didn't take pics

I will now leave you with pics of my insane lanyard.. yes I started pin trading about 4 or 5 days into the trip.. yes that is the amount I bought while there.. this is just my lanyard btw.. Jack and Kayla also have them with pins... yeah I'm an idiot!!

Next up, the day the music died.. ok ok, going home day, but it felt like death for me!

I'll try to get to that last part tonight, so I can start my new PTR!!! we can all review my mistakes and make my next trip even better! I want tons of suggestions and tips from readers this time!!

I can't believe after all this time I am finally done with this TR!!! I think after this I will do brief review of the dining, so it is all in one spot! Nothing big, just a yay or a nay! I'll also do a glad I did/brought that list!

On to the last day, the day my heart sank. We woke up and decided we would do a breakfast at Kona. John wanted to just get going, but I was having a terrible time with the thought of our vacation being over and going back home to our problems,work, and not nearly enough family time. I call Disney my happy place because I truly don't believe another vacation would bond our family the way Disney does. No other vacation ensures you the opportunity to feel young at heart and just live in magic. This may be why my depression came back with a vengeance in October?? Like I said, I had to at least have a last meal from Disney before we left. I called Kona and they had a ton of openings! Not sure I mentioned this earlier, but many of the ressies we canceled and then re booked were open. So it is safe to say in our experience people def do canceled once in Disney! So there is opprotunity to get that ressie you couldn't get while home!

We took our time getting ready to check out, and I must have rechecked the room 18 times. I'm always so paranoid about leaving stuff behind! We checked out and went over to the Poly for the last time ! Since the last night there was an add on we had no food credits left, so we were paying oop for this one. I went to Kona with every intention of trying the tonga toast.. but ended up having the Big Kahuna Breakfast ( I think that is what it is called??) I know, how could i?? I'm still kind of mad at myself..oh well John had the same thing! The pineapple macadamia pancakes were amazing! Although I got that on the side, i was scared i wouldnt like it! The french toast that came with our breakfast was eh.. nothing special at all. The potatoes were awesome! The meats were pretty ok as well. John said the same thing of his meal. Kayla had the kids french toast, with a fruit cup and some of our home fries! Jack had oatmeal.

Kona is very pretty inside, although I don't care for it's open floor plan. I like for a restaurant to be closed in..maybe I'm weird?

After breakfast i still wasn't ready to go, so we walked around the poly for a bit and took some pics, and shopped in their big store. We winded up getting my friends son a really cute vintage mickey t-shirt, and osme jibbits for the crocs

The poly really is just one photo op after another! I think we will def spend a bit more time there next year so I can get pics of the kids!

After we were done shopping, it was time to go We got on the road, and the ride def wasn;t as exciting as the ride there!

My best friends name is Ivan Hoe, so I took a picture of this for him..yes I am serious, that is his birth name, not a nickname!

The ride was pretty boring, so I didn't take a whole lot of pics. At some point we were all hungry, so we stopped at an Olive Garden. Boy did I hate paying for food OOP!! I felt robbed, and knew the vacation was finally over

Once we got home, I was happy that I had cleaned like mad before I left! It was nice coming home to clean house! Even most of our laundry was clean, since I had done it by the pool that one day!
