It's GOLF SEASON!

The courses around us are starting to open --none of the nice ones but still, it's GOLF. We went to the driving range yesterday but we had to hit off mats since the grass is still brown and not growing. It's still golf though. It was 68° yesterday and low to mid 70's for the next few days. Oh, and the Master's is in 2 weeks--the official start of the golf season in my book!

It must be hard to go so long with no chance of playing. At least here we usually can play all year except when it snows. But this time right now is still the best time of the year for golf

1-2 inches of snow last night in the Boston area.

I could have sworn I heard my clubs softly whimpering in the basement this morning......

We just got DS11 new clubs and we were HOPING to not have to get DD11 clubs this year since we wanted to get her something really nice next year because she will be playing on the varsity golf team but, she set up for her first ball of the season at the driving range and it was OBVIOUS her clubs aren't going to work. I let her use my clubs which she now loves and thinks she needs, um, no sorry you are not getting PING's yet. Off to the golf shop this week.

LOL, our girls (11,11) are still working their way through Dick's brand clubs. I bnought my wife a new set of Adams Idea irons for Christmas which she is really anxious to get out and try them. We are in the process moving right now so opportunities has been scarce. But after this week we will be able to walk across the street to the club house at our club! :

We had a golf expo at the local Coliseum a few weeks ago and my husband signed up to win a trip to Florida and he WON!!!

They called last Sunday to say that he will receive the official paperwork within seven business days. It hasn't come yet, but I can't wait to find out whether it's official. They didn't ask him for $$ or anything, just wanted to verify his name and address so it sounds like it's on the up and up.
DH doesn't remember anything about the trip as far as where in Florida the trip is to - can't wait to find out!!!

DH has been golfing pretty much all winter here in MD. The courses never close there. Happy Golfing~! I'm going to be watching my favorite golfter Tiger today hopefully win the tournament he is in. Go Tiger!
