Belle is sick, well she's getting over it, but she was pretty miserable earlier in the week.

Then my throat started getting sore - uh oh

Middle of the night Amelie started getting stuffy, we've been up since 6am now because she can't lay down and she's just unhappy. I pulled out the torture device that is a bulb syringe - ok, ick! She's still so little, I'm sure Belle picked it up at the docs office when we had Amelie in there for her bili check.

I could so go for a venti white chocolate mocha right now, but it would probably give her an upset tummy making my day suck even more!

As for the bulb syringe, you have my sympathies. I could handle all of my children's bodily fluids with no problem except snot! Still makes me gag (and they're teenagers now!)

I'm sorry. It's been a looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnng time since mine were tiny but your post jerked me right back to that time. (Can you hear "Memories" playing in the background?)

I wish I were there to play with the kids, do a few loads of laundry, make lunch, pat the baby and let you have a nap.

I manged to squeeze in an hour of sleep between feedings while Belle watched Sesame Street - god bless that annoying little critter Elmo!

DS is off at the neighbors, Belle is watching Cinderella (the live action with Brandy) for the 8th time in 3 days, and Amelie is crashed in her car seat sounding like her daddy snoring

Now if I could get about 5 more hours of sleep I'd be good!

You poor thing. It's so stressful when they're so little and sick and you're sick and tired on top of it all. It'll get better soon--you just have to get through it--exhausting as it is.

By the way, the bulb syringe is the technical term, but around our house that thing is known as the "snot sucker."

Well, it's alot later now... I hope you are doing better. It's such a bummer when little ones are sick, then when you feel yucky on top of it, it's just so much worse.

Atleast you can come here to whine!
