It's DINING, not Dinning

I'm in the "leave it alone" camp when it comes to misspelling, unless it affects the meaning. A while back someone asked if he or she could be "glutton free" (most likely meaning gluten-free) at Disney. Someone finally posted something along the lines that going gluten-free is possible, but attempting to be glutton-free would probably lead to a sad experience.

That's precisely the point. It DOES affect the meaning. When someone asks, "Is the ROL dinning package worth it?", my answer is no. If you are looking for dinning, you are better off booking a fireworks dessert party which will, inevitably, be louder than ROL. If someone asks, "Is the ROL dining package worth it?", my answer is yes! If you are going to eat at that restaurant anyway and you don't want to wait standby or use a FP+ on the show, book the ROL DINING package!

Ok since we are on the subject, my pet peeve on the boards is “ I am/was wanting”. It’s “I want” or “I wanted”. Where the heck did the extra verb come from?????

Along the same line, every time I read "I's", I want to scream!!! As in " it is DH & I's anniversary". OMG people, the possessive of I is my or mine, not "I's!! I have never heard anyone actually say that IRL, but I read it on the Dis pretty often.

All you have to do is break it up. No one would say "It is I's anniversary." Same with "Me and my husband went to Boma." No one would say "Me went to Boma." Well, maybe Tarzan.
