We were planning to come to Disney around Christmastime, but for a million different reasons, we've decided to spend most of that time down in the Keys instead. (We just went there for the 1st time last week, and I fell in love!). My question is:
Are they able to split an existing reservation into 2 separate ones (completely separate people)? We'd still like to go 12/21 & 12/22--just to give the kids a small amount of Disney time. The reason I'm not able to just cancel the unwanted days (I think) is because I bought these points from another DVC'er and thus, they are transferred points. So I'm thinking of just trying to rent out the existing reservation for 12/16-12/21. I feel like this is my best bet to not lose money. Does anyone know if it's possible to turn 1 reservation into 2 separate ones?

That would be my solution! Transferred points also have to be current use year so depending on the use year, those may also still be bankable? Or another solution might be to splurge on the dates you will be there. Hello CCV cabins or GFV 3-bedroom villa! Don’t mind if I do.
